The cafe was a beautiful, easy going space. Our server, Elaine, was helpful and attentive but not solicitous. the Tuna Poke Bowl was fresh with delicious veggies and sauces, which I enjoyed on the side. the Mac n Cheese with short ribs was fantastic ! and we both enjoyed a summer shandy.
If I’m dying, I’ve instructed the kids to make haste and get me Rigatoni a la vodka, old school with grilled chicken from The Lost Dog. Do it, you won’t regret it. I’ve seldom tried other things from the menu, but when I did, they did not disappoint. Truly the best restaurant ever and I say that without exaggeration.
Loved this cafe. Fun atmosphere with a dog theme. Our bartender Emily was fantastic. Her recommendations were terrific. She was personable, helpful and professional. The food was outstanding. My Mofo Chicken Sandwich was delicious and the Sweet Potato Fries were the best that I ever tasted. My son's Rigatoni alla Vodka was also excellent. The bar was well stocked with nice choices of spirits, beer and wine. I will be a repeat customer every time I visit Binghamton!

We dined as a group of six! Everyone in our party enjoyed their entrees! The brisket Mac and cheese was to die for! The beans and greens looked amazing, burgers were great! Our waitress Jackie was kind and efficient! No lack of staff here!
Great restaurant. Food was tasty and cooked fresh. We had the Buffalo Brussels to start. Super tasty. We were there before 4 pm so we couldn't order dinner but lunch was perfect. Sandwiches with a generous side of crispy, thin fries (or you can get a salad). Atmosphere was fun.
I last reviewed lost dog a couple years ago and finally got around to coming back for the first time since the pandemic started. My criticisms from my previous review stand to present day.Lost Dog is constantly hopping with business. This visit was no different than any of the last visits in the sense that the building was very packed and it took almost a half hour just to get seated. Thankfully there are two bars to visit during the wait and we occupied our time waiting with a few pre-meal drinks (tip: the one fish two fish cocktail is a tasty, popular drink).After being seated our dining experience progresses at a good pace. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and our meal and the wait times between receiving each were reasonable considering how busy the place was. By the point we received our entrees the waitress seemed very stressed and started making errors with our requests. We didn't think much of it considering the business of the restaurant and assumed they were understaffed like most businesses are currently.The bruschetta appetizer is, to put it simply, amazing and a must try for any newcomer. Easily the star of the show on this visit. The chicken sandwiches we ordered as our entree were delicious and cooked perfectly. We skipped dessert this time.Overall Lost Dog is a great spot to dine and would be one of my top choices to anyone visiting the downtown Binghamton area looking for a dine-out meal.
A wonderful gem that I haven't been to in quite a few years. Very nice atmosphere where you don't feel crowded. The menu is eclectic and guaranteed to satisfy. All dinners were outstanding and the service superb.
The food was excellent! My whole family enjoyed the food and that hardly happens! The waitress was nice and the ambiance was fantastic!
Loved the place. The food is really good and has good service as well. They do have lots of gluten free items on their menu. Tried the chicken lemongrass fried dumplings, mofo fried chicken and mambo chocolate love.Overall a great place to go with Family and friends!
