Hacienda: Twice the price, Half the food.Meal prices are exorbitantly high relative to other Spanish-style dining establishments in the area. Expect to buy two of everything to meet reasonable adult portion sizes.Image showing two fajita orders and two sides of rice for >$60. Almost enough beans for one complete taco each!Food tastes decent and the wait staff is nice.
We were seated right away. The host brought us chips and salsa. The waitress came 20 minutes later. By then we knew what we were ordering. 2 different occasions she tried to give us someone else's appetizer and drinks. I asked of our drinks, she said they were coming. Needless to say that didn't happen. 30 minutes later She brought my plate, then took it back. 10 minutes later a kitchen staff brought my husband's and my plate. No drinks yet... As the staff member was leaving our table she came over and I asked for our drinks.. This time we finally got them. No one asked if we liked our food, but yes we did. Service was the issue. We left feeling underwhelmed. ?
I've dined at plenty of decent to exceptional Mexican restaurants in North America and Mexico. Most have left me with memorable experince while craving for more. This restaurant was simply OK. The food looked better than it tasted. The two pricier dishes I tasted seemingly lacked authentic Mexican spices. Maybe the Chef de Cuisine toned it down due to the locale...?
Great food, fast and friendly service. Highly recommend.
i never usually eat my entire plate but i did this time! amazing food. i got the burrito delux for $13. i even had room for the chips and salsa, which was great. looks nice and cozy inside. waiter was nice. definitely recommend!
One the best meals I have had in a long time..there was a bit of a mix up with my order but I went back down and they fixed it for me with no issue. It was fresh, quick, and friendly.
Fellow visitor from New York City. This place certainly is a strong Mexican restaurant in the area. We order the fiesta quesadilla, fiesta dip, steak tacos, Baja shrimp tacos, tres leches cake, flan and a blue margarita. Everything was great and there was nothing to complain about except the steak tacos. The steak was very dry, I would’ve liked them more moist. Overall, it is certainly a reliable spot to go with large groups of friends to hang out especially being close to the campus.
The food was good for typical Mexican restaurant fare. The servers were very attentive. It is nothing fancy but I would go back or order out if I wanted Mexican food.
No customer service at all. Food has no flavor. Waiter was rude an walls look lime an Italian restaurant an not a Mexican restaurant. Taco salad had so much grease in meat it separated an was horrible.
The food is exquisite! Very good, tastes just like home. I loved their homemade tortillas chips, n dip. I will be patronizing this restaurant again n again love it!?????
