Went for lunch. The place needs a cleaning. Dirty windowsills and corners.Ladies room has giant cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling.Entrance has loose stone almost tripped and fell. Mind you I haven't even eaten yet.Margaritas had some weird after taste and creepy colored salt that pretty much turned a green yucky hue. Taco salad. I have NEVER had a bad taco salad....until today.Refried beans in the bottom of the shell bowl like liquid,soaked through before I even started eating it,it was gross. The chicken is shredded but chewy.No guacamole in it,doesn't come with sauce(I guess you have to pay xtra for that). It was downright nasty. Needless to say they are charging 2 more bux for anything with meat/seafood in it because of inflation. I am easy to please but when this stuff is blatantly in front of me I am going to say something. Whoever thinks this place is great,good on you.There are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better places to spend your $$$. I will do that.
We were on a roadtrip from Toronto to back home to Philadelphia and stopped here for dinner. Everyone congratulated me on finding this place because it was really perfect for us. Right off the highway, an extensive menu, and delicious margaritas. It doesn't look like much inside or out because they converted an old fast-food restaurant but the food makes up for it. And the help was very friendly.
By far the BEST Mexican around and fantastic customer service! We love it here!!!
This Mexican restaurant charges for taco toppings such as sour cream for 2.49 and extra pico for 2.49. What a joke. It’s best to go to the other local Mexican restaurants.
Our grandson has been wanting to eat here for along time! Well, we finally stopped in today! The staff was so friendly, and made our experience very nice! The food was amazing, very delicious and huge portions! We definitely will be returning, both with and without our boy!
Ommmmg, is how I'ma start this.. Since the moment I walked in and greeted to the first sip and first bite I have been wowed!! Finally real authentic Food, the favor is there in every bite and not missing a beat!! I'm not even done with my meal and I can't wait to come back already!

Back again in 2022! Its a local favorite and maybe a new cook since my previous visits..Food was Excellent tonight!I would say 3 stars but hubby loved his Enchilada Grand (he added side of Pico de Gallo ) to add flavor. My chimichanga with chicken was under whelming...no flavor in the chick...pretty sure my beans and rice sat on the plate waiting for the entree since the beans were congealed on the plate and the rice was room temp..Service was excellent, didn't wait long on a Friday night..delish Margareta and Sangria and all that for $40....will give it another try.....well, tried it again., down to 3 stars. Shouldn't there be something in my quesade besides flavorless chicken
Just visited El Pulpo for lunch on an overnight business trip. I am a little upset I couldn't try the Conch Taco Special, but I'll be back! Had two of the lunch specials a beer and giant margarita for under $40. Our server was DELIGHTFUL! I am grateful that business will bring me back to Binghamton in a few weeks. I will definitely be back!
The food is like nuclear waste for your stomach. I ordered chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans. The rice tasted 3 days old, and the food didn’t look very appealing. I decided to eat it because I was starving and oh Jesus do I regret it. I have been running back and fourth from the bathroom all day and had to call the day off of work. You have lost a customer.
