Was looking for a quick chinese fix and decided to try China Star. Ordered vegetable fried rice on the phone from outside the store. The posted menu had all the prices blocked out. The rice was sticky with no flavor and very few vegetables. Customers are served thru the front door , no one allowed in the store. One taste and I tossed it.

Really bad customer service. I understand they have limited English. I ordered a noodle dish and I got only rice and asked them to exchange my order. They both yelled at me at the door and told me it’s only with vegetables the chow mein. Which in fact chow mein should be noodles. He persisted I pay for another order and I left after being yelled at arms in the air. $11 for veggies and rice mixed with soy sauce for dinner “special”. When I wanted shrimp chow mein. I would have been happy if they just switched my order but the yelling and barking and making me feel like a victim. Terrible 0 stars. Go here for bad food and terrible people.

Our order was meh and seemed over priced. Can't say we would go back.

Quick, good quality and Ben is a very nice person.

Maybe they thought they could push through sub-par Chinese food...but not with me.Ordered: Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, medium, and asked for Fried Rice (instead of white,) Small Hot and Sour Soup, Steamed Dumplings, and two Pork Egg Rolls.Where do I begin? The Lo Mein noodles were chopped - no long tasty noodles to slurp and enjoy or dangle tantalizingly around chopsticks, the noodles were cut into many short little pieces and was more like eating Beefaroni than Lo Mein. The flavor was okay. Dumplings were well over-steamed and "mealy." Received three "Pork" Egg Rolls, none of which contained any pork. They contained nothing but cabbage. There wasn't even any shredded carrots, celery, bamboo shoots, or any other veggies, just cabbage, and certainly no pork. Hot and Sour Soup was overly thickened, dulling the flavor and creating a gelatinous consistency that was not appealing. The Chicken with Garlic Sauce came as a half order, not the full order I requested, and was crammed into a container MOSTLY filled with cooked yellow rice, not Pork Fried Rice, not even Vegetable Fried Rice. There was no pork in the rice, no veggies in the rice, and the rice was not even fried. There was also way too much of it. Now, in order to get fried rice on the side instead of white, I would expect an upcharge. That's perfectly fine. There was no upcharge but no fried rice. It almost looked like one of their "Combo Platters," which would explain the extra egg roll, but again those come with FRIED RICE, not steamed yellow rice. Also I did not ORDER a "Combo Platter," I ordered a regular order of Chicken with Garlic Sauce and wanted to upgrade to fried rice, preferably Pork Fried Rice, but veggie would have been acceptable.Almost nothing about this meal was good. There are many very excellent Chinese food restaurans to choose from in this area. Next time I will go to one of them. This was my first time eating at the China Star in Binghamton. I will never be back.

Food is not cooked fresh. I always order the same and it's always disappointing. Sweet and sour chicken should be crispy not soft and nuked in the microwave . I will not be going there again always disappointed

Just ordered $40 worth of food, then immediately got a cancelation text. I only live 2.6 miles away so I don't know what the problem is... Now I have to wait 2-3 business days just to get my money back? Extremely shady if you ask me. It better be there or you guys are in serious trouble.

Egg rolls were burned, food tasted very greasy and they gave me chicken instead of shrimp in my dish.

Food is delicious, service is great, will always be my go to!

Food is not good. I feel like waste $10.
