Service was great, music was awesome and the food and drinks were delicious
So here’s the thing. Tap Room Bay Shore is so good, but ONLY in person. Do not order to go or on any delivery app. I don’t know why but the quality just plummets and they ALWAYS either forget something or mess it up. The manager is always sweet and helpful but this place isn’t cheap at all so for things to consistently be wrong or missing it’s annoying. The fries delivered or to go are always soaking wet, soggy and drenched in so much seasoning they’re not even edible. In person? The BEST fries. Their milkshake is unmatched it’s so bomb. Their burgers recently have become incredibly bland and are never cooked the way we ask which sucks because they were delicious and i hate going to Local instead.
Avoid the apple crumb dessert. It is insta worthy but tastes vile. This is the first time I've ever sent food back. We scooped off the ludicrous amount of whip cream. We both ate a bite and were overpowered by their cream cheese. It is a layered dessert so we were surprised when the staff told us that we shouldn't have ate so much of it. We had two scoops each. Bro, you have to dig to get to the apples and you can't even taste it because of the other flavors. The aftertaste will follow you all the way home until you brush your teeth. 2 stars because the staff did adjust the bill at least.

Didn't intend to go here but so glad we did. Brunch on Saturday morning was great. We got the chicken waffle sliders, short rib egg tacos, and poundcake French toast. It was wonderful. So glad we got to visit.
Surprisingly good food for a bar. Drinks are a little too sweet for my liking. Outstanding service!

Awful. Waited an hour and fifteen for delivery on a wed night and the food was cold, dry, and tasted awful. Ice cream was melted and tasteless. Asked for no croutons and got croutons. Everything was carelessly thrown together. This was a waste of time and money, never ordering from here again.
My son and I decided to go out for an early Mothers Day Dinner of Cinco De Mayo. We were searching for a place with a short wait and good food. We had our names with another place down Main Street with over an hour wait. We walked to The Tap Room and Wendy was the hostess and she seated us within 5 minutes. Wendy was our waitress as well. Let me just say Wendy was expectational from seating us, taking our orders, touching base with us if everything was good with our food, drinks etc. The place was so busy and she was very attentive to us! The food and drinks came out in a short time and all was great! Wendy is a great asset to your establishment. Please commend her on her upbeat, friendly personality and great customer service! We will definitely return and hope we have the same experience there again!Thank you for making my Mothers Day dinner a great experience!
