So I went there for the first time with my kids today . I got a munch special for all of us mine you the bill was still 70$. The staff was very friendly but the food itself wasn’t good for the money . We all packed up our food to go home and throughout eating the food at home there were eggshells all throughout the fried rice . I called the manager and all he said was I’ll give you 15% off next time you come in ? How about a new meal ?! Or that part of the meal refunded . Nonetheless you’re better off at your local Chinese spot to be honest !
My fiancé and I have been going here every Friday night for the past year, we love it. Plenty of choices, and if you wanted you could order hibachi food (freshly made in front of you). This is our go-to place and we are so happy with the service, food quality, and environment!

Not clean, dirty tables,& utensils, Food was cold staff is very lazy to serve you, Apps and entree's overall Sushi is not fresh last time isat at the sushi bar I was apoled the Sushi guy was cutting his finger nails with a clipper place is Gross never again
Do not go here. We paid with a credit card and left zero as a tip since we gave the tip in cash. They chased us down almost as we're walking out to tell us we need to tip. We explained that we tipped $20 to the cook. They told us we need to tip the waiter too. Why? All he did was write down the order. He did not serve us or anything why would I tip him? Manager, tipping is OPTIONAL. I tip based on service. Chasing after us for extra tips is the greediest ugliest thing you could do to a paying customer. Will never be back.
On our way out the hostess literally chased us down to ask if we left a tip. I gave the cook a $20 bill. He asked how much I left I said $20? He said you have to tip again, for the hostess too. It was so embarrassing how he chased after us that was really awkward of him to do. I never have experienced something like that I will never step foot in there ever again.
Excellent food. Staffs were very kind and welcoming. Would say the best sushi spot in Bay Shore.
Love Sumo, great for Sushi, Hibachi or Classic Japanese cuisine. They have a plentiful selection of appetizers and rolls. Just fell in love with their Poke salad the fish is so fresh and cut perfectly.
I ordered some vegetarian sushi and vegetable dumplings. DELICIOUS! I almost gave up on vegetable shumai bc I've had it at 3 other places and it was gross. There's is amazing!!! 10/10
Is this place under new ownership? They won’t deliver to my address anymore and the food went down hill. Nothing like it was.
