Go for the oysters. Great selection, super fresh. If you like sitting at the bar or bar area. This is your spot.
This was our second time having dinner with family and it was delicious. We ordered several items and shared them all. One was better than the other. Started off with fresh oysters, then the burrata starter, calamari, octopus, mussels, shrimp tacos and the best lobster roll. Oh, almost forgot the biscuits! Everything was delicious and enjoyed by all.
Highly recommend getting there during happy hour since oysters are here price and they were awesome. Shucked impeccably, The menu was a little limited but what we ordered we were not disappointed with. Waitress was great Waitress was great, Highly recommend
My wife and I enjoyed our evening at Salt and Barrel very much. We were greeted warmly, and seated quickly. All staff that we encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful. Our waiter (Manuel, I believe) was very polite and attentive. We simply had beer (Narragansett) for our beverages (cold and fresh!). We requested and were seated at an outside table - I appreciate their honoring our request. We enjoyed the fried calamari (crispy, perfectly cooked, with a tasty sriracha sauce). Definitely freshly prepared, not frozen! Next was the tarragon biscuits - combined with the sweet butter, delicious. We both enjoyed the shrimp tacos for our entree. They were excellent - perfectly cooked and seasoned, with fresh cilantro. We were too full for dessert, but I'm sure they're offerings would be great. Maybe next time. Thank you, Salt and Barrel - we look forward to returning!

The food as always was excellent. Emily was our server and was extremely attentive, service was her priority and I think she should be utilized as an example of what makes a business successful.
