The Staff Is Incredibly Attentive & Friendly. The Food Is Amazing & The Atmosphere Is Fun?

Let me just say, my fiancé and I loved this restaurant so much that I started writing this review before we even left. Our Memorial Day plans unfortunately fell through so we had to find a last second alternative and luckily Rock City Dogs was open. We were warmly greeted outside and seated by who I can only assume was the owner who thanked us for coming in. We were given the menu and an additional drink menu which had a really nice variety of cocktails, craft beers and plenty of other alternatives. Our waitress was very friendly and took her time answering all of our questions even going to the back to see if they had the hotdog my fiancé was looking to get. Although they didn’t, she suggested an alternative which my fiancé loved. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like and our waitress checked in every so often to make sure our drinks were refilled and that we were enjoying our food.I feel like its worth noting that a family came about 15 minutes after us who were absolutely determined to be miserable from the second they walked in. They sat next to us and loudly complained from the time they walked through the door (we could actually hear them complaining all the way from the entrance) up until we left. Absolutely nothing could be done to please these people and their children. While it seems that a small mistake was actually made (possibly something involving a salad not coming out on time), the owner and staff treated this family with grace and went above and beyond to make their experience better despite their continuous complaints about literally everything.All in all the experience was a 10/10 for us. Friendly owner, friendly staff, great design, great music and really, really good hotdogs. We’re already planning our next trip back.

Stopped into RockCityDogs last night for a quick bite. The place is set up really cool offers a full sit down bar and a real nice dining area. We were nicely greeted at the door and told our host it’s our first time. She went over the menu and offered the most popular items on the menu. Our waiter came over to our table and we placed our drink orders. Drinks were definitely perfect and worth the price. We placed our orders We went with the Mac n Cheese fried pickles. I had the Springsteen my wife had the Santana and a side of stick fries n onion rings. The hot dogs were perfect each bite offered a good snap and the toppings definitely added a great combination of taste. The Mac n Cheese was almost a meal in itself. The fried pickles and the onion rings were absolutely the best I ever had. The owner Venus came over and asked us how was everything. We told her it was absolutely perfect. The music and the vibe of this place definitely fits into the positive changes going on in the down town Bayshore area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend RockCityDogs. It’s got that nice little bar scene with some really good food. It’s was a pleasure talking with Venus. On the FoodFriends Scale it’s definitely up for our first time. 👍

Food and customer service were excellent. We took the kids and they loved it. Definitely recommend! Would love to come back for drinks at night.
Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The owner checked in with tables regularly and was attentive and fun. I ordered the pretzel as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. The sauces provided with the pretzel were a delicious addition. Burgers can be cooked however you’d like (versus many other local places)Cons: Pricier than I expected it to be. The burger was super tasty but was an absolute mess to eat as it was too overloaded with condiments. The hot dog has a bit of a bite to it and can become messy to eat as well. Refills are not free, we inquired, otherwise we would have spent 12 dollars on four sodas.Overall: Great experience, would return, but too pricey to be a regular spot for me. Ask for a stack of napkins :-)
We made the right choice for dinner! The menu was fun and interesting, everything we had was delicious! Definitely get the Zappa disco fries! They have a fully stocked bar and a skillful bartender with fantastic mix drinks. The staff was very attentive and sweet and the music was excellent! Stevie, the owner who introduced himself to everyone and checked on the tables, has hit the nail on the head, love the vibes of Rock City Dog!!
