We dine at JBBQ at least once a week. The staff is incredible, food is delicious and overall such a fun experience! If you haven’t tried it yet, don’t walk, run! You’ll thank me later!!!
Took my mom here for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. I've been to similar places before, both in the city and while I was living in Japan. Our server was excellent and the food was marinated to perfection. Our only issue was we might have ordered just a bit to much ?!I highly recommend the chili pork belly and ribeye cubes. I was really happy that they had takoyaki as one of their appetizers, as it's one of my favorite foods. My mom's first time having one and she couldn't get enough.The tables were a bit small, so if you have a bigger party 3+, its a little hard to balance our the food (though this is a common problem for these types of establishments), thankfully they have a cart right on hand to place your food on.We can't wait to return! ?
We made reservation for 3 and I brought an extra guest so a total of 4. They were nice to accommodate the 4th guest. Instantly we spelled a great aroma of Korean BBQ and we were all excited. They have all you can get for both soup and bbq which was great. Heads up it needs to be a group decision to have soup so you cant just have one person soup and bbq. We all chose bbq and they had menu of all the meats. The waiter was great and all but I felt like he was attentive because nearby clients were getting theirs meats and veggie faster and we had ro wait for our orders. Once he arrived back he would send over the meats quickly, but we had to wait for him for like 15-20 minutes every time we ran out of meats. So be sure to order as much meats earlier because they disappear for quite a while. I assume to help other customers. Drinks were awesome and food was great with a lot of spices. Our 90 minutes were up and we spent like 30 minutes all together waiting for our meats.
Food was ok, experience was fun however went to pay with a $150 gift card that my son had purchased for me for my birthday and was told the card had a zero balance. I spoke to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do but she would look into it and call me.. never heard from her, called and left several messages with no response. Ended up paying $250 for a $90 meal... will NEVER go back and advise anyone I know to stay away. Extremely poor customer service and follow up.
Great interactive, family experience.Clean restaurant, staff is pleasant.Just make sure when you add the BBQ optionYo wait until your plate is hot enough to put the meats on. Cold metal will steam not Grill.

Whether it's hot-potting, bbq or both there are alot of selections from the meats, seafood and vegetables. The drinks are great and unique. We always have a great time when we're here. If you haven't experienced this before I recommend it!
First time here and everything was amazing, food, experience, atmosphere and music! I had hotpot in flushing and I’m so happy that I have a new fav place to go. It was the first time for my boyfriend eating hot pot and he loves it. The service is excellent, our waitress was really nice and sweet, she gave us two drink from the house, I really appreciate it that! We are going to be back soon ❤️
They gave you a ton of food, and the service was excellent! The only thing, I ordered lobster balls, quail eggs and beef meatballs for my hot pot, and each of them had a very fishy taste to them. It wouldnt have been bad, if you liked fish.. lol
Only had the hot pot there and it was pretty excellent! Great selection of all-you-can eat items and wide variety of drinks and appetizers.The spicy broth is very good and the fried chicken wings were crispy and delicious.I went during a less busy time and the service was great.The only downsides are that there is no sauce station (although their pre-made sauce is good) and the dessert menu was lacking in menu options (they only offered cheesecake at the time).
