Bayshore location-I'm not sure why we bothered? We sat down and were never greeted or acknowledged by a server. A larger family sat down after us and became the priority. We left without ever ordering, IHOP contines to disappoint no matter the location.
Good to go would recommend pricey though
My waitress was great didn't have to wait long for my food she was polit, loud enough to understand and didn't have to write down our order and got it all right
My family and I been to this IHOP for many, many years even before the big renovation where they extended it and updated it and have always had a pleasant dining experience. However this will be the last time we go until the weather warms up, went yesterday for Sunday breakfast and sat in the back towards the rear emergency exit door facing the parking lot, the manager and some employees where bringing in deliveries through the rear emergency exit door, there was another patron nearby who complained to the manager about the cold air that came in due to the door being left open. The manager then proceeded to remove the wedge that was holding the door open, and looking obviously annoyed moved the complaining party to another table away from the door, but continued to receive the restaurant food deliveries through the same rear Emergency Door, opening and closing the door at least 5 more times in 28 degree weather, causing us to have to wear our coats while eating indoors. My question isn’t there a rear entrance door to receive such deliveries in order for the patrons not to be so inconvenienced?
I went in to this location like I did the last 15 years since I moved to Islip and today they wouldn’t give me a veterans discount only my meal not my wife or sons which was past practice for the last 15 years They told me to call corporate that I will be wasting my time and she was right so if I got takeout for three people it would be the 10% being that I dined in with my family it changed today very odd won’t be going back bad communication they’re a waste of time there are better places that take care of veterans
Good food fast service friendly spacious
Great service very pleasant experience. Food was made to perfection. The ultimate bacon sasuage combo was super filling with unlimited pancakes. Eggs were super delicious as well as the bacon sausage and home fries. Can't wait to revisit.

Awful recent delivery experience. Food was delivered to the wrong address. When it finally arrived, the holiday pancakes weren't as pictured. The icing was a different color and they forgot the marshmallows. Worse, they gave no syrup for the pancakes
Always great food...butPrices are going up andselection is going down. I understand that certain things are changing because of covid but a lot of places are using this as an excuse. For example; they no longer put all the differe syrups on the table, and they give you 2 syrup packets but you only get the regular syrup. No longer do you have a selection. Another example , and this goes for a lot of food establishments.You are told that prices are going up due to covid or a government policy /mandate or law or trucking/delivery issues and they do not have all the product to serve your food like you "normally " (think tomatoes, lettuce or pickles) would get it. But they do not discount your order for the missing things either. So you are, in effect, paying, and paying a higher price, but are not getting what you ordered. Does that seem fair??m
