I discovered Amores while living in Bayshore back in 1995. Best pizza, best garlic knots, very cool workers!! That was my usual menu because back then that’s what I could afford. It was great food cheap. So good that I gained about 45 lbs!Fast forward 27 years, minus the 45 lbs. I returned to Amores this past weekend with my wife while out on LI to attend a wedding. Looked like the old crew was still there, just a little more seasoned! 2 pepperoni slices, salads, & garlic knots, It was still freakin fantastic! While eating they engaged with us with friendly conversation and I told the owners my story about 27 years ago and guess what…they gave us our meal on the house! The entire meal! I cannot thank them enough for the hospitality and the fantastic meal. If you want the REAL NY pizza…GO TO AMORES!

There are times in life when we all change the way we eat something. Are you the kind of person who first eats the marshmallows out of Lucky Charms? Or maybe you’ve ripped open Oreos and ate the filling first? Come on now admit it you know you’ve done that.Well, when you enjoy something who cares about the order. I mention this because my favorite thing to order here is a meatball or chicken parmesan hero and eat it in reverse. Once it arrives piping out from delivery I’ll dig in with a fork. Piece by piece I’ll carve out the center until it’s all gone. Hey, if there’s an extra sauce I might eat all the bread too! #funwithfood

ordered pizza delivery.great attitudes on phone.delivery was faster than promised..no problem with that.ordered at noon..im sure busier times may take longer...oveerall im very pleased.wii definetly order amores again.
Had Amore last night at Islip PAL football/cheer trophy night, food was terrific, chicken parm, pizza, penne aka vodka, the salads had fresh vegetables…and I like that they support the local kids teams, they got a new customer!!
