Everything the food was great
I love this place so much! They have a very large venue in comparison to other buffet locations. The food is great for the budget, even though the place is already budget friendly enough. Super busy during holidays but the wait time is never too long. Recently, their desserts have been more limited :( but not always, so it is overall good.
If I could give zero Stars I would!!It was my first time visiting and definitely was be my last!After I paid for 4 people I was told to have a seat. We went into a section to the left of the buffet. There was a family already in the section we greeted each other. While sitting down a host this came in and said the section is closed. I didn't hear her the first time so I asked her to repeat herself. She again said loudly this section is closed give me your receipt. She did not announce herself as being a hostess she did not have an ID. I walked around the table to give up the receipt she snatched it out of my hand.She began to walk away and did not tell me to follow her, Walk This Way, please let me see you over here NOTHING!Confused, my family and I followed her.... I asked her was she okay, was she having a bad day? She told me no and that I need to read the sign on her podium. Keep in mind it was my first time at this establishment. We later found out the sign was handwritten on a podium. But at that point we've had enough. I asked for my receipt back to get a refund.The gentleman I paid asked me was everything okay I told him no. I explained to him that the hostess was rude and snatched the receipt out of my hand. He stated that we were supposed to stand at the podium and wait to be seated. I reminded him that it was my first time there and no one told us to wait at the podium. Another guest agreed with my family and I stating the hostess was rude. She stated, "I heard her and I saw her snatch your receipt, I would have knocked her out!" Letting someone over receipt is not in my character however this reassured me that I wasn't being sensitive.

I went there on a Saturday night with a group of 7. I don't understand what all the hype is about. I personally do not like buffets for a number of reasons, but it wasn't my choice to make. And supposedly the food here is "so good". I beg to differ. Yes, there is a wide selection of different foods. However, the taste and quality is mediocre. They don't ask what you'd like to drink, they just bring pitchers of Sprite and Coke...which is flat by the way. When we asked for water, they brought it but didn't bring extra cups. I guess we were supposed to drink the flat soda and use the same glass for water? The food is oily and the hibachi is extremely disappointing...very bland and no flavor what so ever. I would not recommend to anyone who is used to fine ingredients and high quality. You are better off paying a few more dollars at an actual restaurant. I would never go to Flaming Grill or any other buffet ever again!

Great food varieties. So affordable.
They give out plastic gloves.. I feel that they need to be helicopter waiters and staff to make sure people have on mask and gloves when taking food. Also I was waiting for the hibachi chef who was in the back doing I don't know/ care what.. and he didn't wash his hands or clean the grill. There is a sink to do so. The ingredients were fresh food at hibachi Station and buffet was good beside fried calamari which smelled really fishy!
It’s a very good restaurant which is totally budget friendly. Their buffet price starts from 11.99 goes up-to 14.99 depending on what time are you visiting. It’s usually high during the weekend. Also I believe they have more food options on their menu during weekend.At first I didn’t believe that there’s any buffet exists in NY which is totally pocket friendly but this place totally proved me wrong.They have a very wide range of food on their buffet menu and can’t complain but compared to the given price I would say it’s a great deal. Some of the dishes actually tasted good. I absolutely loved the crab meat with cheese.
Food is great I wish it be served hot though that's why I go 2 the hibachi counter and get food because it's hot after he cooks it
