If I have to pay 20$ for loaded fries at least don’t burn them. The hostess was rude with me and didn’t even walk me to the seating while she did that for other people . Overall not worth no money , rude staff high prices and nothing else
If you advocate for employees being treated well, don't eat here. There are plenty of better and more moral greek places in Astoria. Owners are pretty terrible to the staff and treat them like personal servants, having staff serve them and family as well as cleaning up after them without any compensation for the service pretty much daily. I worked here a few years ago out of desperation when I first got to the city, I was fired by the owner (so glad in retrospect) because someone ordered something they didn't like and complained, but the catch was the owner didn't inform me or the manager who was my direct supervisor, the manager had to ask what was wrong with my schedule for me and was just as surprised as I was. Support a better business!
Food was delicious but the staff are wonderful people! While dining at Ovelia my sunglasses fell out of my jacket. I told the staff and left my information. A week later, while doing maintenance on the outdoor dinning box they found my sunglasses under the heater!! I am absolutely thrilled they found them but more importantly that they are kind hearted people! I will definitely be coming back!
Pretty good menu, lots of options, but the food took a while to come out and the food was kind of heavy. like super salty and savory, which shouldn’t be a bad thing. We also had a little homeless man who sat next to us in the outdoor area which shouldn’t be an issue until he wanted to start shouting and fighting us.
Good ambiance, great drinks and exceptional service. Our waiter was extremely kind and helpful in providing recommendations. We sat outside on a warm day and the shack wasn't too bad, it was nicely decorated. The only downside is the taste of the food. The feta cheese cubes are overrated in my opinion so as is the coffee steak. Nothing on the menu really stood out to me like other Greek restaurants.

Great service and atmosphere. Had a couple of appetizers and desert - good flavor, the lamb on "French fries" (actually fresh cut potatoes that were delicious and almost roasted) dish with cheese was such comfort food.Enjoyed one of their non alcoholic Cocktails with ginger and rose which was perfectly not too sweet.
Stopped by for a quick appetizer and a couple of drinks with my friend. The drinks are really pretty and the one I had (can't remember the name but I attached a photo) was delicious. We had the dips as an appetizer and they were all really yummy. The only thing I would suggest is a little more pita to accompany the dips with. Overall good experience

I love this place for a nice night out of cocktails and good greek food. My favorite is the Mousaka but any dish in this club like restaurant won’t disappoint. Great cocktails sometimes live music to keep you entertained. Prices are moderate
