Food is ok! Fries could be cook a little longer. Everything here can be done better. They just seem like nobody here likes what they do. Owner should please invest in sustainability and sharing making the surroundings cleaner! There is really no difference of cost when doing something better.
I ordered the chicken gyro platter and was pleasantly surprised by the very generous portion. Great amount of food and quality for the price. This was a lot of food and I struggled finishing it, but the fatboy in me was motivated to finish the dish. Everything was delicious. Chicken gyro can be very dry, but this was quite moist and flavorful. However, I was not a fan of the king sauce as it just tasted like melted butter. I would definitely order this again, just without king sauce and add extra tzatziki.
Must order the Greek fries! Great for sharing! Real potatoes made fresh with feta cheese, olive oil, and other seasonings. I usually order the greek fries and a chicken gyro pita which comes out to less than $20.Cash only! They do have an atm on site at the food truck. There are a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk if you want to sit and eat. Or you can always take it to go.
We stayed on Roosevelt Island for July 4th and had the opportunity to try the King Souvlaki Truck when it was there for the event! Gyro was delicious as were the Greek Fries. The ATM on the truck was fantastic too.....smart touch!

Great food truck restaurant. Food is always fresh and tasty! Unfortunately that isn't a secret and the wait times can be rather long.
A bit pricey but worth the money. Great customer service and pretty speedy with your food order. The only negative review I can have is that they don't offer electronic payments of any type. No debit or credit cards either. only cash.
I don’t know how many times I’ve been here but it never disappoints. The food is always hot, tasty and given in large portions. I’m not sure why people are complaining about the customer service, it’s always fast and efficient, and family owned… it’s not meant to be a sit down restaurant. Love this place and will always come back!!
I was always told by some to try this cart and I gave it about 3 tries before I completely gave up. Their beef and lamb gyro/platter is so bad. I really hate to say that, and the meat has all of that chewy cartridge in it so it's incredibly hard to chew and swallow (pause), and it tastes so musty. It tastes like someone cooked it half way then left it under the cushion of a wet couch for a week then served you it but before they gave it to you they swiped it between a homeless persons buttcrack on a sweltering hot summer day. If you think I'm lying, try it yourself or flush $10+ down the toilet, same thing.
