A long standing restaurant serving afghan cuisine. Excellent food all the time. The quality of the food has remained great after all these years. Great neighborhood for late night bar hopping and late late coffee and late desserts if you get the munchies

Honestly, Food was great, but the service was awful. Rude server, made it a horrible experience. All 9 of us are definitely not dining in there again. Will probably order for delivery though.Hopefully they can change that server. Otherwise, great food. Definitely would recommend ordering a delivery, Don't bother eating there though.
Best Afghan food in the NYC area, hands down!! The lamb shank is second to none. The green tea brings you back in a good way.
The Uzbeki Palao (lamb shank) is the best in the city. We enjoyed it a lot and it was definitely our favorite of everything we got.

Must get their Lamb Shing (shank) with the rice and carrots. The rice itself is so good you can just fill up on that with some white sauce. Their kebabs are also pretty good. I'm not too big on other items there but some core products are consistent. The owner is a lovely and kind old uncle who really seems to enjoy serving you food and is hard working. An old and successful establishment. Call them for delivery as they do not utilize common delivery providers such as Uber eats etc as they do their own.
