We walked in later in the evening and waited about 15 minutes for a spot to open up. The restaurant works off reservations, so if you have a tight schedule, make a reservation.Service was quick and friendly. For $27 AYCE, this place is reasonable. I had the healthy broth, which was flavorful and yummy. My fiance had the mala broth because he loves spicy stuff and it was right up his alley. The veggies, meat, and other add-ons were great quality. I really wish my fiance and I were able to do a second round because it was so delicious, but we were already full after the first around!I did feel a little uncomfortable witnessing the younger, more fluent-in-English tall male worker rough handle a smaller, older female coworker with glasses (our server who was super sweet) when I assume something went wrong (going off of context clues of him visually looking upset and shaking his head at her while she looked sad).
We came in with four people. I chose a few things from the menu that accommodated everyone. We all ordered drinks for less than a 100 bucks. Great fresh food, great choices. The prices are excellent. I definitely will be going back.
Fantastic “hot pot” experience. Awesome food, great food, pleasant staff.
It was very good. It was my and a friend's first time there and we enjoyed it. The broth was great the all you can eat was nice. The only reasons they're not getting 5 stars is their open times are fairly bad. Also look at all of these basically inedible dried peppers that we got in the spicy broth.
My husband and I have been traveling to Buffalo, NY for medical treatment and in our down time we tried out a bunch of local restaurants. This has been by far one of my absolute favorite restaurants I've ever been to. Their hotpot broths are so unbelievably delicious. I love the stylish seating and the big screen TV with music playing while guests eat. The staff are pretty friendly as well. I've been to a few other hot pot restaurants, but none of them do I love as much as this place. Now every time I visit Buffalo I HAVE to stop here! 10/10
$25 for hot pot and a small can of coke may not be the best value or even fill your stomach. The buffet is where it's at if you're willing to pay $30. Best to come here on weekends or special occasions, but not on a regular basis unless you have a lot of money to spend.
Wonderful, especially if you have lived overseas and are feeling nostalgic. When I was in Seoul there were lots of places like this and they have captured that atmosphere. The staff was friendly and while it was so busy that we had to wait for a table to open it was worth it. If you have never had Chinese hot pot, Japanese shabu shabu or the Korean variant then I suggest the fatty beef as a great first try, though you can't go wrong with scallops either.
Was our first time trying hot pot, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and was eager to teach us how to do it. Would recommend that you try at least once.
I didn't get a picture before everyone dug in but it was SO good! Staff was attentive, everything was fresh and delicious. Will be coming back the next time we're in Buffalo!
Hot pot is so fun and tasty. There are other options, too, but I love how pot too much to order anything else. The service is good. Lots of TVs, so know that going in.
