I have not had Chinese food in a long time. I wanted something different then the reg Chinese food. I ordered over the phone had to run in and out because I was doubled parked. Get home no rice with food. Called and apparently they do not serve rice with dinner meals. They said they forgot to tell me when I picked food up, they should have told me when I ordered. Anyway size of dish was size of lunch meals and the cost was higher. Two me for $40 no rice... it crazy... and portion size the same as lunch meals... Yes, food was tasty and fresh... but I have had other Chinese food in the city food is just as fresh and tasty. Also, I have had better Chinese food that was over the top. Yes , it cost me more but I left happy and would go back. This food was not on that caliber. Food/taste/price/ambiance don't match up. Sorry
From the outside, looks shabby but on inside is pretty nice. The food is great, and the only complaint that I have is the service. It wasn’t extremely slow, but it wasn’t fast. They also didn’t give/refill water if you didn’t ask. Overall, would recommend.
The restaurant itself is small but the hotpot is great! The food is fresh and the staff always ensures the soup is full. Love coming here!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Rainbow about 10 days ago. Roast duck, crispy flounder, bbq ribs & dim sum. All was fresh and well-prepared. A cut above. Service was a bit random, one staff member on cell phone a lot, but go for the good, cleanliness and good value.
Birthday weekend dinner!!! Want expecting anything but regular fare. Wrong!!! The place was clean, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was amazing!!!! The menu was huge, was a bit intimidating at first, but it was great! I noticed the majority of patrons were Asian, so I hate to say it, was a clue that the food was not only good, but it was authentic. Reading the menu already spoke to that, but the patrons confirmed it. My date is a traveler, and had eaten at many establishments. She was impressed. Will definitely go back at dinner point!!!!
