Great place. Hosted a listening party a few months ago and played a live gig there as well. Awesome staff and vibe.
Fun are throwing with a nice bar space, but compared to other places the axes are dull as hell, making for a frustrating experience. If they could sharpen their axes like most other air throwing joints I'd rate five stars.
I recently visited The Yard with our office's Happy Hour. Leyla and her staff were very professional and organized the entire time. The team at The Yard takes the time to teach you proper form to ensure you'll have a positive experience in the Hatchet Throwing Cages. The service at the bar was prompt and the Boozy Moo! ice cream was an added bonus to the evening.Our team is very excited to revisit The Yard for another office outing!

Great place for drinks and playing some “yard” games. If you want to throw axes while tipsy there is a bunch of caged axe throwing “lanes”. Bonus tip it’s about 25$/per person/per hour to rent a lane and throw.

An afternoon well spent in an adults only space with lawn games, delicious ice cream, fun sporting, beautiful outdoor seating and the most diverse mocktail menu I have ever seen. Raspberry Nojito for the win!
We hosted our wedding after party here and it was a perfect end to the night! Friends who still had their energy up had a great time throwing axes - everyone said it was even more fun than they expected. And the rest of us really appreciated getting to wind down at fire pits on the great porch with yummy ice cream and cocktails. We'll be back again soon and highly recommend it! The staff and owners were super helpful and friendly. This place a gem for downtown Albany.
