Great food and time with friends.
All was good
I ordered a gluten free steak. I told the waitress to make sure she wrote on the order Gluten Free. Can't get much simpler than that. They served it on a piece of wheat toast. NO ONE pays attention anymore. So my entire table ate their food while I had to wait for a new steak; they were finished by the time my steak came out. NOT the dining experience I was hoping for.
The AC wasn’t on or working. It was so humid. The waitress was bothered every time we asked for something and could be heard complaining to another waitstaff. She was rude to a couple of us. We were in a large party. Just snippy and sarcastic. The food was marginal. One persons seafood was bad and had to be sent back and because the food coming out was so slow she just had soup which they charged her for. To top it off I fell on the standing water in bathroom stall. When I reported it to the staff at the front podium she looked like she could careless. Ugh.

We went to the standard for dinner and drinks before a night out. We both ordered martinis off their regular drink menu both drinks came with blue cheese stuffed olives. My dates drink came without her olive so we asked about it and the server apologized and went to get it. After 2 requests we finally received it and as the picture shows it was completely covered in mold. I took the olive to the hostess stand and spoke with who I assumed was the manager where I explained that my drink had the same type of olive in it so he asked what I was drinking and saud he would take care of it. After waiting 15 back at the table he brought me a new drink. After the meal which the food was good we received the bill and found that nothing was done about the drinks. Very disappointed that the drinks weren't comped at the very least.
My date and I had a great meal there. Ambiance was good as was service and the food.
Visited on a Sunday night after wanting to come for awhile. The theme and decor of this restaurant is very attractive with images of the rat pack and art deco decorations throughout. Unfortunately, the food is not good:Food:Seared Scallops Entree- Scallops we're so overcooked, it was if I was eating scallop potato chips. The risotto was just rice in oil and couldn't have been blander.Blue Cheese Crusted Filet- Had to send it back because the medium rare was a cold rare. The blue cheese crust was inedible, a total waste of money.NY Strip- Canned mushrooms on top, bland, spinach actually tasted like nothing.Service:Waitress was very nice but covering the hostess area + every table in the place. She did the best she could but very short staffed.Drinks:Not bad, a lot of sugar not a lot of alcohol.All in all, sad because so much effort was put into making this place an enjoyable restaurant but the food is so bad, it's just not worth your time.
We had a large pasty. Server was excellent. Grieg my and she assured that we had what we needed. Food was delicious.
