A great meal. Great service by Justin. Owner came out to explain the risotto. Later he brought out another version of it.
My wife and I hosted our wedding welcome dinner/ party here and it was incredible! The food, the venue, the staff - everything went just as we imagined it would and had hoped. It was the perfect way to kick off our wedding. We got soooo many compliments about the food! Especially the vegan pasta. Even the non vegans were tearing into that! Everyone just had so much fun, and it really was just the perfect way to start the whole weekend! I don't think anyone wanted to leave as we were there until we were literally asked to leave.From the very beginning Dora & Mike were incredibly kind and accommodating for us, and we literally had the best weekend of our lives and we will never forget it!! We Would do it all over again without hesitation!
Solidly good food. The pretzel appetizer was excellent. My burger with shrimp was cooked perfectly to order and tastes great. The service was efficient and timely without being bothersome. It could be loud but we were seated in a nice quiet area. I would go again.
The staff were all very nice but the food instantly made me very ill which ruined the show I had come to town to see. And we spent a good amount of $$ there. Now I'm seeing other reviews where people got sick from the food. The restaurant should really look into why this is happening to people.
The food at The Hollow is high quality, inclusive of many diets, and very delicious. Highly recommend for parties small and large!
This place is amazing the atmosphere is relaxing and the decor is kinda retro but modern the food was amazing and not expensive dinner for two ran us 40 bucks
We were from out of town & our hotel recommended this place for a late night drink. The location is good. Great seating inside. Good country music playing. If you’re a local looks like you are given warm hospitality. The female red headed bartender was the least pleasant person in the bar. The moment we walked in it felt off, she didn’t say hi, didn’t smile, just looked us up & down, we actually felt she said something about us to the person sitting at the bar as he turned around & was looking at us too, they kept making eye contact which just made us feel very awkward. My husband is police detective so if he notices something like that, then I know it’s not just me. We actually said to each other we should leave, but knew of no other places to have a drink so we stayed. My husband who likes everyone bought his last drink & left it on the table & wouldn’t even drink it that’s how annoyed with her he was. When we first ordered they had no Malibu which is totally fine so the very nice, smiling, happy go lucky, male bartender whipped me up something using some other liquor (which was soooo good), when my husband went to reorder my drink the female bartender advised him she didn’t have Malibu & from my seat I yelled back to him I’m not sure what the guy (who was still in the building used) used but just make that again. So instead of her trying to figure it out or possibly suggesting another similar drink she did nothing. Made my husbands drink & was back to attending to her regulars. It should be noted my husband still tipped her. It wasn’t the fact they didn’t have Malibu it was her nasty tone & demeanor. So our night was over earlier then we wanted. I’d like to say maybe she was having a bad night like we all do but the vibe from when we first came in was very off.
The food was amazing. Had the Quesadilla, Nachos and Mozzarella balls and everything was hot and flavorful. The company was also excellent and so was the whole staff there!
Loved, loved, loved The Hollow Bar + Kitchen! I'm not sure why it took us so long to stop in!?! The service was awesome and the food was fab. Lots of gluten-free and vegan options too!
Food was really good, seafood chowder was good but a bit too salty. Waitress was okay but I felt rushed and inconvenienced. If it wasn't for that impersonalness I would have given this a 5 star rating because it started off nice and then ended abruptly.
