We just had a super dinner and Sushi Tei. The rolls were delicious and plentiful. The kids in our party devoured everything. They made a surprise fried banana dessert for our 6 year old birthday boy. Thank you! We’ll certainly come again.

The food & the service is amazing! They are attentive and super sweet. The sushi was fresh, vibrant, and of course delicious. The ambiance is quiet and great for a lowkey date night. Definitely coming back

Found this place after I was overwhelmed by the Christmas crowds at Cross Gates Mall, it's just down the road from the mall. It was the perfect retreat and it was not too packed. They have a fantastic menu and the selections that I've tried so far have all been really well done and super fresh. I've been a half a dozen times and haven't even scratched the surface of what they have to offer. The draft beer selection of Japanese domestic brews is top notch, and the sushi bar is professional as they come. They have a cool back room that I think you can rent out for an authentic Japanese dinner party. 10/10 so far. Goin back(thirty min drive) to get another lunch special and a brew! Cheers y'all!

The atmosphere was cool but the food was fantastic. The rolls are made to order and tasted great. The portions are pretty big as well so be mindful on what you order. And if you like pork dumplings give those a go here... you won't regret it.

idk what happened to the old review i posted so i’ll write a new one. this is my favorite restaurant, it’s clean, the food is always good, and everyone is always super friendly and generous.my favorite things on the menu are the mermaid roll, shrimp shumai, tonkatsu ramen with a little bit of oil, and the volcano salad.

Filled a huge order (8 different special rolls) in a timely fashion, but the presentation in the takeout container left something to be desired. Some of the rolls are also basically dunked in spicy mayo.

This resturaunt is the best in the capital district for sushi and many other Japanese dishes. Hands down the best portions, fair pricing and complex but delicious flavors. The menu is easy to read, the staff are beyond friendly, the service is fast and best of all, wait did I mention the food is the absolute best in the 518?

Review time!We looked on google and said let’s try this place, it’s pretty close and seems to be okay. as soon as parked and entered, changed my mind from Okay to This seems a cool place. very nice and warm design, great atmosphere for hangout, party or dates. I ordered beef ramen and i have to say Absolutely best ramen ? ever had in the region ?.Menu: They have large menu for drinks , for sushi, and also specials for the days. dessert menu is outstanding, you can ask or look for anything you want. Please take look at pictures I updated.I have to say I LOVE Sushi Tei! ?Reasonable price, authentic cuisine, good customer service, large portions and MUST place to eat if you like Japanese food! Also, sushi and sashimis are delicious ?! Outstanding, highly recommended to anyone for any occasions.Enough parking spot if you are coming here as group for party ? ? ? or etc. special party room for family and private surprises. they have separate cozy waiting room with light music for you. if you are waiting, order a drink and warm up for sushi ? ? ?I would say one of most amazing place to eat. I will stop by to try something else. Also, special thanks to Jackie, she surprised me with Christmas gift ? from Sushi Tei.Thank you, Thank you and Thank you ??See you guys soon.

My first visit this place is amazing Food was beautifully prepared and delicious the restaurant is very clear and the waitress was helpful and attentive you could not ask for more I will be back it is a must stop in Albany

Tried their Dragon roll and Spicy Roll and they both were fresh and tasty. Also, tried their fried rice and desert(Friend banana/tempura with Strawberry Ice Cream) which were not the best, the fried rice didn't taste the same as it used to be before. Desert had a very small portion of Ice cream served.
