Coffee was delicious and reasonably priced ?
Stacks is one of my favorite coffee places! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and some of the best coffee in downtown Albany! Next time you're downtown be sure to check it out!
The breakfast sandwich was fine, the coffee was good. The problem was the bugs. I literally left there with lice crawling all over my clothes. I immediately went home and started treating it so the lice wouldn’t spread. Do not go here. You will get lice.
4 stars for the coffee. Excellent coffees. Place was a Bit of a mess and bathroom was even worse. A cleaning and a coat of paint could go a long way.
I had to update my last review since things have changed so much in recent months. Looks like Stacks made it out of the pandemic in good form! They've always had excellent espresso drinks but NOW they have a compact cafe food menu. I had a southern style chicken salad on a baguette today that was fantastic. Paired that with a cold brew. Very nice.
Very inconsistent. Some days I have the most perfect pastry and latte, other days I get a cold or burnt pastry with a cold or burnt latte, which can be a huge bummer based on how expensive this shop is. Having more highly trained baristas and consistent scheduling would probably solve this issue...
I liked that it was open on a Sunday. I did not like that it was out of oat milk, before 11am. If I’m spending almost 5 bucks for a coffee, I really wish it was the way I like it. And the service was slow.
Excellent coffee with a delicious selection of sandwiches, soups, and tasty treats. My new go to place for lunch.
decent coffee, seltzer on tap, great location but a lot of staff standing huddled together not helping customers
Had the best cortado and plain croissant I have ever had. The croissant tops all of the ones I’ve eaten in France ! Stacks is a must-go if you’re in Albany!!
