This is the place I go to get "Mama's" Sunday morning breakfast any time of the week!?
Well this place has been around since I was a little girl sad to say their prices are through the roof just like everywhere else and the place could really use a good cleaning aside from the fact that every degenerate in the South End of Albany is hanging outside the front door and you're scared to walk in there with your pocketbook you might get mugged I ended up leaving and going somewhere else

I was waiting for my meal that I ordered and was going to pick up....they totally ignored me even after I said excuse me 100 times to the waitress... as the waitress said she doesn't care for doordashers only the customers inside the store...not sure where they thought I was doordashing lol...really not classy either way...doordash or not. I will not spend my money or time here anymore. Whoever the owner is should be highly embarrassed they have waitresses who think there above and beyond, stand outside and smoke cigarettes in your face. I'll pass.
I've been going here for over a decade with my grandparents it's a nice place small but efficient I never really have a problem with the food and the price is good.
Staff is super friendly. Its been a long time since I’ve eaten here. Unfortunately the food was sub par this time around. Ordered corn beef hash “hard/crunchy”, it as extremely soft. Also got the fish & grits-it was a frozen fish filet. Yuck.
Overall, a good breakfast. Grits were a little pastey.
This is hands down the best breakfast spot in Downtown. My work days are made better knowing I get a chance to stop off here to grab a bite before the daily grind.
