Place was great. They were able to handle a 60 person reservation. That's right... 60 people and it was seemless. Paying was a bit of a challenge but it all worked out. Thanks to us mathematicians : )Food and service was good.
Convenient location near our hotel; easy access off Wolf Rd with plenty of parking. Not the most attractive venue from either outside or inside. Service was fast and efficient but not the most friendly or personable. Salads were definitely green--all there was was iceberg lettuce with way too much dressing which was overwhelmingly sweet versus the usual ginger dressing. Hibachi chicken and shrimp with rice, mixed veggies and udong noodles would have been very good however, it also was too sweet! Similarly, the fried rice with beef and shrimp was sweet as well. Both dishes were huge in portion size, had fresh ingredients, were attractively served BUT were compromised by the chef's penchant to overly sweeten everything!!! Prices were very reasonable but wish chef would eliminate the "sweet touch"!!!!

The food was great but our group was split in half and the second half didn’t start eating till the other group had their to-go boxes. I was disappointed in the service so I decided to leave a review. 10 minutes later the manager comes into our private room and proceeded to yell at our group about the review stating that this is how they do all group dinners. This was very disappointing to see from a nice restaurant like this terrible service.
Great place but not as showy as other hibachis. Took over 30 minutes to be seated with reservations. Got seated next to 3 women making very inappropriate comments all of dinner.
Fantastic habichi experience for myself and 7 others four of which were children! We had an great dinner with lots of laughs! We will definitely return.
Not sure what the heck this place’s problem is but when a person who’s driving an hour wants to place a large order, they probably shouldn’t ignore what a person is trying to say, put you on hold, come back and say if you’re not going to be ready (without realizing you are) they have someone else to finish up with…who called after you. Never tried this place before and now never will.
Samuri is an EXCELLENT Japanese restaurant! My family goes all the time and we have a wonderful experience every single time. The service is top notch...The food is simply fabulous...& Their prices are extremely fair. Not to mention our 4 year old son absolutely loves sitting at the cooking tables watching the chef prepare our dinner. They always put on a great show! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Samurai Japanese Restaurant to any& everyone interested.
If you've never been here, and you're a local...you've total missed out on great food. The Owner may be one of thee best staff members I've ever met. The food is cooked to perfection, and the spirits are poured precisely. Happy Hour is a must from 4pm till 6pm. Great selections, and you may catch some good convo at the bar like I did.
