Called in an order on our way home to VT from a quick trip to the Catskills. Ran inside to pick up and stopped in my tracks - oodles of homemade pasta in the freezer, cans of Italian soda pop , and a deli case of things where I wanted one of everything. Super nice people behind the counter and the Italian mix sandwich and meatball sub were amazing as were the cannoli I couldn’t resist - worth leaving the highway !

Best sandwiches I have ever had! Call it a sub or a grinder or a hero, whatever, order it here. Works out best if you call and order ahead because it seems to be steadily busy. Make sure to get the pickles on your sandwich. I don't know where they get the rolls but they are very good. The regulars know the drill and wait patiently. I would say they are a little light handed on the mayo for me so I order heavy mayo after my first one but other than that, order your favorite sandwich and brace yourself for a great experience! I have gotten the lasagna and eggplant parm to go to eat later and the lasagna is EXCELLENT. The eggplant was ok, not great, not terrible. They have a variety of Italian grocery products for sale in freezer and on the shelves in the back.
Italian cookie was not good but cannoli was good.
I thoroughly enjoyed a gluten free Italian mix from here. I was impressed that I didn’t get glutened, they must take care to not cross contaminate the different items!
Heard about this place through a friend and am so happy about it. We stopped in and got a few treats including a meatball sub and a sausage and pepper sandwich. I forgot to take pictures, but the food was delicious. We also tried some pepper shooters which were tart and perfect as well as some Mexican popsicles we found in the freezer.The staff were friendly, patient, and have amazing memory recall. Watching them manage customer orders was so impressive. We will definitely be regulars!

Call ahead and they’ll even hear your food…call ahead anyway, as this popular spot can a bit of a wait but it’s always worth going out of your way. The best sandwiches and imported meats/cheese; if you grew up Italian, you’ll know what I mean: this place smells authentic as soon as you walk through the door. Don’t pass up.
What else is there to say other than the subs are fantastic and I enjoy the small family owned Italian market vibe. Seriously the subs are awesome.
A great Italian deli, the Italian mix hero is my favorite. They can accommodate gluten free subs which is awesome for my wife with celiac disease.
