ordered 11 piece chicken. we got 2 pieces are fresh which are hot and rest all are not fresh and no taste cause of those are cooked may be some time(couple of hours)back. better if they serve fresh and hot chicken.
Passive aggressive and child like behavior from the young woman at the drive through. My partner and I where waiting on our food. He’s looking at the window. The woman faces him and says “ I’m gonna stare at your face because that’s the polite thing to do when someone’s looking at your back.” He was simply looking around at his surroundings but this perhaps self centered woman thought he was staring at her back and took it in the most childish way possible. Please consider people might be interested in how the popeye dynamics work. Hence looking in the window. Not staring at you. I don’t know if she’s having a bad day or has a hard life. But it was quite rude.
This is an other fast food chain in Central Avenue that I don’t recommend. Always long wait, kind of messy surrounding inside and outside of store.
Amazing staff! Ordered from doordash and didn't have option to add any sauces. Called the store and the lady went out of her way to verify that my order was at this store and took care of the sauce for me! Great customer service! And a bright spot in an otherwise rough week
I've been to a few Popeyes locations and the one on Southern Blvd.(9W) in Albany is by far the best. The employees are friendly and courteous and the food is always hot and delicious. The manager at this location deserves a huge pat on the back ( better yet a raise). In these times when it's tough to get employees and ones that actually care about service, is a big credit to him/ her. Great job to your Popeyes Team !
Chicken is ok. I'd get it again. On par with KFC.
Short staffed, not doing curbside service. They may want to rethink how they treat people to keep them, oh boy the way, I'm disabled and couldn't get out to go inside or even stand outside the car door. Great service to the disabled Popeyes..... Great ..not
Burnt biscuits Burnt Mac n Cheese. This place has gone downhill since original manager owner has passed away. Order is never right anymore and food be old. Only thing saving this place is it’s the only popeyes available in area. This place is done is we get a chikfila near by.
I wish I could give it a zero star! We had ordered two chicken sandwich combo online 25 minutes ahead of arriving there. When we arrived they made us wait for half an hour for two sandwiches that’s usually already ready to serve. There were almost 5/6 other customers waiting for food as well. They’re talking, texting, gossiping everything but to give people their food. Wow!!
This is honestly the highest quality Popeye’s I’ve ever eaten out. No matter what time I made an order at the food was flawless. Perfect chicken, crispy fries, buttery biscuits. I think I have a problem as I cannot stop ordering from here once a week because the food is so amazing!The manager on duty is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Great not only to customers, but the staff as well who are generally pretty young workers. Although young, the food they push out has been so consistently amazing.Kudos to the owner of this location. Quality control is fantastic and really the ONLY, small, small issue is the sauces tend to be out quite a bit. However due to supply chain issues across the globe this isn’t exactly a problem that exists solely at Popeye’s.
