Overall my lunch was good. Food was delicious and enough to fill me up.I went solo and had never eaten there before so I was surprised with a number of tables open they sat me right next to a group of four ladies. At first I thought they were just finishing up and would leave soon. But they had just ordered before I sat down. Then I sat there as the wait staff walked around no one even made eye contact. After 5 minutes, I was about to get up and leave. Finally, one of the waitresses stopped and took my order. She appeared to be the busiest one there. Anyway she was very nice, answered my questions, took my order and attentive after I received my meal. So, don't get discouraged because of my experience the food was worth it. Hopefully you'll have a shorter wait time.
Really Cute local Place- we had Breakfast, before a visit to the UAlbany Campus. The food was great, service was great and very friendly. The only gripe was the glass of OJ was $7.50, it was tasty, but a little steep in price. Overall a great place, and we will be back for sure.
I heard their stuff was good. I just wanted a slice of cake. Website and posting on door said open until a certain time and I rush go there and even though it was not closing time. They were closing and would not accept us. So I went to Bountiful Bread that was also closing at the same time. People were kind enough to let us in and paid for a whole cake instead.
It’s ok… I came here because I wanted to try something different and they had a decent menu.It is a small cafe. Like you can see the entire place from the front door small. So I highly doubt they could accommodate a large group last minute. The food was very very diner-ish. I ordered a sandwich and my kid had a burger. We both enjoyed them. I also had a Bellini it was terrible. I’m not sure if it was the peach purée or the champagne but I wouldn’t ever order that again. EVER.I ordered onion rings to go they were over cooked but my kid ate em anyway so it’s cool.I would recommend this place for a quick bite with the kids or friends. Not a date or anything romantic.
My friend and I were in the area, and since she loves this restaurant, I was willing to try it out. I had the Chocolate Chip French Toast. I really did enjoy it. Good food and everything was in a timely manner. The service was satisfactory. I'm not taking away points for this in my review, but I will say that they charged 2.95 for syrup. I have never been in a place where they have done this. So, that was a new thing. I am from Virginia, so maybe it is more common up here in NY perhaps? This is the first time that I have encounter this up here where I am charged for Syrup. (Actually, the Chocolate chip French Toast was so good, I really didn't need the syrup.) When I was asked which kind I wanted, I assumed it came for free. Not making a big deal, but just FYI. I do recommend this place, however, and would come back again if I was in the area.
Had a great time!! Everything was great !! Mimosas to die for and the cinnamon crumb cake French toast, one the corn beef and hash is authentic and amazing!!! Definitely will be coming back
We usually love Peaches and have a great experience. One time we’ve been treated a bit poorly by our server, but everyone has an off day, so I won’t stop coming just because of one poor experience. It’s family friendly, the food is good and quick, and it’s within walking distance of our house. It’s a really nice place for brunch and usually the staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. We enjoy bringing our family here for brunch!
Me and my friends went yesterday afternoon and they have very poor service. Staff very unprofessional. Waitress was rude mocking me and my friends with her co workers, slamming stuff down, huffing and puffing, rolling eyes. Super unprofessional. This was our first time here and our last. When we asked for a manger he took long to come over while we was watching him doing nothing. Than comes and says he doesn’t think she was doing it intentionally. I said we can hear her talking about us with the staff and he preceded to say nothing. While staff unprofessional and I’m almost positive they’re racist and that’s why we got that horrible service. Wouldn’t recommend and making sure I tell everyone I know to never. So disappointed.
Not so great for me last two visits and I so want to love it. Such a cute Cafe and very busy with friendly staff. I may try it again one day.
My go-to place for desserts. No match to this place in Albany. For a sweet tooth like me, Everytime I am around the area (which is a lot of time) I have to get something .. their black Forrest, carrot cake , chocolate truffle , french pie are my favs.
