I use to enjoy their vegan cookies but due to their inconsistency and spitefulness, I will no longer return. A few weeks ago, when I ordered there was a mixup with the website so my order went to the Schenectady store. To fix it, savannah made a new batch in the “rush oven” to fulfill the order. Once I received the box all of the cookies were harder than normal, and not as soft and chewy that I have always been use to receiving. When I returned to the store to speak to her about it just to see why the cookies were burnt and smooshed- I left with an understanding that made me feel that it was just the a one time ordeal. Fast forward to my order yesterday I ordered 18 cookies for my grandfathers birthday, to only receive 12. The cookies were rushed in the “rush oven” which makes the cookies very hard, and nearly burnt as it was done a few weeks ago. When I told them they didn’t give me the correct amount they continued to make the 4 cookies in the rush oven.. when I got home, and the cookies finally cooled down, every single cookie was hard as rocks. I’m not sure if there has been conversations about my previous incident with savannah but this is now my third time getting burnt cookies. They know me by name and face. I will no longer be supporting this company and will be ordering the same cookies through David cookies…
Long nights at work had ground us down. 3 weeks of putting in the time, working through the night. On our last night we decided to get cookies...Friends, let me tell you how the mood changed after one bite of the warm goodness of these cookies!!! Why couldn't we done this sooner?Alas, now our cookie supplies are dwindling, tribes are forming and i fear this may disolve into a lord of the flies situation.The bells of war ring now. TO ARMS!!! I have ordered numerous times from this place and always had an amazing experience. Last night I ordered almost $50 worth of food and realized that about $10 worth was never delivered. So when I called to let them know hoping to possibly get a credit, the girl, Natalia, on the phone taking my information down was so incredibly rude. At first I had trouble figuring out what my order number was and when I asked her where I could find it she was little to no help. Once I was able to find it I told her the # and proceeded to explain what was missing from my order. Before I could finish She told me she already knew what I ordered and I didn't need to tell her. I explained that I was trying to tell her which part of my order was missing but again she cut me off and said that it didn't matter with an attitude. I asked her what her name was and at first she would not give it to me. Straight up told me she does not care that she's being rude or what was missing from my order. After dealing with such unnecessary attitude and disrespect I will never waste my time or money at that place again
I’ve order several times now from the Schenectady location and everything arrives exactly as it should. The cookies are warm and delicious and their ice cream is some of the best I have had in a long time. Very happy every time I order. Pics from tonight.
Amazingly good cookies. They were soft, hearty, and delicious. I had the M& M cookies, the snickerdoodle, the sugar, and the chocolate smores cookies. Simply delightful. The staff was patient, attentive and helpful. This is definitely the place to go when you need a evening or late night sweet treat. They are affordable. Definitely a good company.
Last night I placed an order, starting at 9pm, for my daughter and I. Nocturnal Cookies recommended using "foodbooking" on their web site to place the order, so I did. The order went through around 9:20 pm. The delivery promise was 80 minutes, or 10:40 eta.At 10:54 I received a call from the shop saying that they were running late and boosted my cookie order by 50% (that's the reason for the second star)At 12:03 I called back to see where the order was. I was advised that they would be there any minute, but I should have ordered through door dash or grub hub rather than depend on Nocturnal Cookies staffing.My daughter went to bed.At 12:45 I got a call from the delivery driver to let me know my order had arrived. They had. There were extra cookies, but they were cold, and the pint of ice cream was melted.NC is in the business of meeting late night cravings. The cookies are usually fresh and delicious. They are baked fresh, and delivery is commensurate, but 3 hours is too much. If they know they are short staffed, THEY should call doordash or GrubHub to fill in for their staffing issues, not tell me that I should have used an alternate service.It's all about service. Last night, Nocturnal Cookies didn't deliver.
First time ordering from here and it was amazing! I don't know how they do what they do, but it can't be easy. The cookies arrived warm and soft and they were delicious! I ate 3 right away because I couldn't help it. I see some of these negatvie reviews and y'all need to cut them some slack. We all know there's a labor shortage, supply shortage and businesses are struggling to stay afloat because of covid. Instead of hurting bussinesses with negative reviews, why not call them to give them a chance to make it right and if they don't, then leave a negative review.
The cookies are actually frozen dough from David’s , I saw the boxes etc In the trash cans yet when I ordered a few times ago the short lady at the front told me the cookies were the stores dough . The store doesn’t have good customer service also the cookies are mediocre and USUALLY under or over cooked and ALWAYS late if your ordering for delivery . The workers look miserable and the environment felt so bad , Filled with tension from the man and lady working I left the store without ordering . Won’t be coming back here.
Never received my order. Called to see what was going on and was told my order was delivered 30 minutes ago. I was outside the entire time. The employee then told me she called to tell me it was delivered and that someone else answeredand it must have been the wrong number. Funny because she knew exactly what order my number was linked to. My phone number was on the order. She refuses to give me a refund even though my order was never received. This is ridiculous, sketchy and terrible business
