Soul food heaven!!!!!! I recommend to anyone with a taste for real soul food and those who want real food! Great staff!!To my fellow truckers this is a must stop for food.. it's right next to the truck stop!! Thank me later!!I ordered fried chicken, collard greens, candied yams, potato salad and cornbread had to force myself to stop eating just to save myself from having to sleep after eating(I still have a 2-3 hour drive til my destination). I definitely will go back any and every time I'm in the area even if I'm just passing by!!!!

I am honestly at Ms Lizzies writing this review. I just couldn't wait to spread the word about this Albany gem. Ms. Gwenn greeted us like we had know each other for decades...although this was my first time in Albany coming from NYC. I was feeling super hungry so I order numerous items off this beyond affordable menu. The fried chicken, mac and cheese, fried fish, and seasoned fries were amazing. The service and food here was beyond great and it might be worth it for me to take another trip this way to grab some more. Highly recommend!!

You get a friendly greeting the minute you walk in the door!. I ordered the chicken wings with 2 sides! The food was absolutely delicious!
My ribs fell off the bone Mac n cheese ?and cabbage and banana pudding ? I rarely do restaurants so I gave it a shot no complaints here friendly folks waiting for my chitterlings!
Owners and staff are friendly. Food is amazing! Will definately be back for more of this great made to order home cooking! This is a must try place to eat.
The ownes are super sweet!!! I am a southern girl so at lunch when I got a burger and saw they served southern soul foods, I knew I had to come back to get collard greens and was I ever pleased. Ms. LIzzie's daughter thank you for the service. I will be back when we are back in Albany.
This has got to be the best soul food I have ever eaten in a city of Albany Please people support this restaurant the food is delicious the people are great it was just a whole lot of fun I felt like I was at my aunt Lizzie's house
Food was delicious! Real soul food, Fried fish was definitely on point, Old school Mac and cheese, Yams is not too sweet nor bland just right! ????????????
