If you work or live downtown this is by far the best deli in the area. Coming from LI I am a tough deli sandwich critic and this is the only place that comes close. My go-to items are the roast beef special and the corned beef rueben. I am sure everything else they make is also great. Owner and staff are super friendly and prices are reasonable. Note - cash only.
My absolute favorite shop in Albany! Excellent sandwiches! Huge portions! I mean, truly excellent. Awesome prices. Great people. The staff is amazing. I can't express more how you need to try this place.. EDIT.. they are still the best hands down.
This place is absolutely wonderful. It has an old school authentic charm about it. I couldn't have asked for a better deli in downtown Albany. Their ingredients are fresh and the service is great. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming... I'll definitely be coming back.

I just stopped by this place for the first time and was very pleased by the experience. I park in a garage down the road and walk past this location on my way home, and I was walking by after a long morning of classes and decided to stop in. The environment was awesome, they had some country music playing (I love country) and every one of the employees was super friendly and welcoming. The man at the register was very kind and I will for sure be stopping back in! I’m typing this while eating my Chicken Caesar wrap and it’s delicious! Thank you so much!
I will not return. I have been many times and was satisfied with their food, but today when it was my turn I stepped up to the counter to place an order and another customer cut in front of me and his order was taken instead. I can get a sandwich anywhere, and the quality is not good enough to compensate the discourtesy.
