Friendly-clean-delicious and reasonable
This deli is a true gem in the heart of Albany. Love that they were able to move to a bigger location. No matter where they are the Roast beef sandwiches are to die for. The owner is great and I have nothing but great things to say about this amazing Deli!
A line was present and expected. We ordered their Special steak w/ onions and peppers and cheese for $14. Food was great, but absolutely no seating. The cashier behind the counter, intervened and had some patrons sitting at a table of four, move over to accommodate other patrons. This was appreciated as it was difficult to eat at the empty salad bar. One rude juvenile, playing games on his phone at an empty table for four should have been booted out.
Lived in NYC for 20 years, yet this is the best roast beef I've ever had. So good, I had two! The address is 50 S Pearl St, not 15

Hands down my favorite deli. The sandwiches are delicious, made with quality deli meats, fresh vegetables, and tasty condiments (mayos are made in house. So good) The pickles are the best! The staff is so accommodating, welcoming, and friendly.
Excellent, highly recommend! First time here, I walked by it and decided to stop in. He recommended the roast beef sandwich. That’s not normally my go to, but I was really glad I tried it! Cooked in house, dipped in au jus, fresh hard roll - delicious.Good selection of chips and drinks, the pickle tasted like a genuine sour crispy deli pickle. The interior was spacious and clean.
One of the best places downtown for breakfast or lunch. The new place looks great. Food service is quick, even quicker if you call ahead. Staff are always friendly. Food is always fresh and tasty.
Fabulous food, fabulous customer service. I highly recommend!!!! Will absolutely be back.
