They deserve a medal for excellence in service and most importantly, taste!! My favorite is, lean capicola, genoa salami, sharp imported provolone, and roasted peppers on a torpedo roll.
The first time I went to here it was solid, I got an Italian sub and it was pretty good. Unfortunately the second time I had a very bad experience to start off the employees were very unpleasant and then on top of that I found multiple strands of brown hair in my food.
Really like this place staff are always nice and helpful always a good selection of meats cheeses and fresh baked bread
Pelligrinos has been a part of our family for many years. The sandwiches are bar none. The Albany location has a wonderful selection of imported, unique grocery items and frozen goods. The staff are so helpful and kind and it feels like family. A little loud (just like family!) but family nonetheless. ?
I love this Italian deli Andrew makes a great sandwich. The summer sausage is fantastic the fresh pasta salad is also very good all of the staff are very helpful and friendly
Eat lunch here 2 sometimes 3 times a week best food around prices are more than reasonable. Then there's the staff , top notch to say the least.
The food is delicious. And the guys behind the counter are a great bunch of people.
I don't go to Pellegrino's for the deli/sandwiches. I go for the Greek groceries and cheese. So far, it's the only place I can find kefalotyri and kefalogravia, as well as zitoni/bucatini pasta. They also carry Ion chocolate bars and sesame candy. It's easy to find on Central Ave -- just past (the closed) Grandma's restaurant, and Asian market. Have patience waiting at the counter. It's easy to get 'muscled out' by regulars.
Pellegrino's is my favourite deli anywhere, been going here since I was a kid! Benny is the best!
Great place. Good Italian food. Deli, take out meals.
