Went out for dinner last night with some friends from out of town, a total party of 5 including a 2 year old. I have eaten here before and the food is never bad- only good to phenomenal and everything in between.Got seated quickly. Waitress was friendly through this entire experience, however it lasted FAR too long. There was another table outside that seemed to have her attention, which made our visit drag on. Good friends and company aside, there is an expectation for service that simply was not met.Arrived at 645, opted to wait until the last in our party arrived to order. He arrived at 7:10. Our order was not taken until 7:30, it took 15 minutes to get drink refills mid meal (because of the aforementioned table outside) and an additional 20 minutes from meal completion until they STARTED gathering our check. The waitress even came over and asked how many drinks we had in total. Just abysmal. The worst was yet to come- as we get the check and the cherry on top was the automatic 18% gratuity added. I did not see such a message posted anywhere in restaurant, so I asked a server who showed me where it was in the menu, which he did. Unfortunately it said “automatic 18% added to tables of 8 or more” … needless to say I had them remove the charge that was an attempt at theft (as far as I’m concerned). You can see the gratuity amount below.LET THIS BE A WARNING FOR ALL: If you go in and have many peoples in your party, do not let this happen to you. I caught it, but I shutter to think who didn’t and how much money this staff has stolen from others. And I will let you know, I have a firm belief that waitresses never get stiffed. They live off tips, and I still tipped something. But this is inexcusable and it was surely not near my normal 20%
This restaurant worked with me to create a personalized menu for a class field trip with a large group of students. The kids loved it. They were wonderful when we arrived and the food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back!
What a place and omg their margaritas are fab!! It was crowded so if you don’t want to have a waiting time period on a Friday or Saturday night, its safe to have a reservation though you wouldn’t have to wait much longer if you do a walk in. I went with friends and family. the best thing is their DJ combined with margaritas. Food is nice… if you want some fun time, this is a place for you. ?
I visit La Fiesta often. This particular day I met 2 friends for lunch. We all ordered different meals. We were all happy with the portions, taste, quality and prices of our meals. The service is always Fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly staff.Never a disappointment ???
Exceeded my expectations with the food. Drinks are also stronger than margarita city now that Lea is no longer the bartender. I order this exact same meal at margarita city and it's barely any cheese on it. I was so happy I didn't have to ask for extra cheese and pay more.
The food wasn't really that good. The ground beef just tasted like ground beef with taco seasoning, nothing really special. The chicken was bland but not dry. The steak for the enchiladas had almost not flavor. The chicken tortilla soup is just heat, but no flavor. The chips were decent. The server was nice, but service was slow which wasn't the server's fault, but whoever manages the restaurant, since it was just that one server for the whole restaurant. They were also handling to go orders, and online orders; just way too much for one person. They do charge extra if you use a credit card and it is mentioned a lot of places. Not sure this is good business practice, and not happy about it, but we were told in advance.
Best Mexican in town. Clean restaurant, very friendly staff and above all very delicious food at a great price. Definitely recommend.
Pretty standard for Mexican restaurants around here. Big menu including kids&veg. Enchiladas didn't have much sauce, two salad was huge, guac was decent. Server was nice. Eh re coming back. Bathroom smells terrible.
Amazing authentic Mexican food. Sarah is a attentive server and so friendly....a true hidden gem!
I've been coming to this place for years. Absolutely love it. The salsa is the best I've ever had, and the service is lightning fast. It's a pretty basic no frills restaurant, but the food is amazing and the prices are great. My girlfriend and I can get through an appetizer, drink and meals the bill is around $40.We have met the owner quite a few times and he's always great. Servers are as well.We even tried Toro, the new place on Wolf road it's not nearly as good, and it's insanely expensive.LaFiesta on central is the place.
