The best wings in Albany! probably some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly every time. Their fried fish is actually SEASONED, and seasoned right, which no other fish place around does, and again, it’s cooked perfectly. Their fries are seasoned good, too. Tried the snow crab and the portions you get for the price is some of the best, without sacrificing good quality and flavor. Every time we go our food is cooked fresh and hot to order. They also sell little cakes and not only do they taste great, they have the most amazing texture that even bakeries can’t get right. Even my nephew’s burger looked really good and nicely cooked lol. The owners are always so friendly and professional, you can tell they love taking care of their patrons and put love in their food. Love this spot
Delicious seafood, wings, and desert!A friend & I found this place on Google.After reading the reviews, we decided to give them a try. I am from the Chesapeake Bay/Hampton Roads area of Virginia, my friend is from Mississippi, so we know good quality seafood. This resturant did not disappoint! The owner "Butta" was so kind and professional. The steamed shrimp were cooked to perfection, catfish cooked very well and fry enough to keep the meat from having a mushy texture. The fried shrimp platters were cooked perfectly, no rubbery texture AT ALL! The chocolate cake made by Mrs Butta was soooo good!!!!!!! I drove from Saratoga for this seafood and it was worth it!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!
So I was feeling for seafood and being that I have been to this place more than once and the food is good. But this time I got the worst customer service ever and will not spend my hard her money with this business again Very unfortunate because I am one for supporting my black owned businesses. My bill came to $150 I was asked how was I going to make the payment cash or card I said card. He asked me for the number on the card, expiration all the things required to make the transaction but I felt uncomfortable when he asked me the street address which I felt like wasn't needed for the transaction. So I told him that I was going to send my daughter's to pick up the order with cash. My daughter's drive all the way from Cohoes to Albany for him to tell them that he did not place the order and that he was closing which was at 6:30 p.m. when he was scheduled to close at 7:00 p.m.. I personally will not do business with this place I don't t care how much or how good the food is I will not ever again dobusiness with this establishment
Found this place on Google, while looking for good seafood boil. The rating was 4.8. That made me happy so I took my husband to lunch on his birthday (Valentine's Day). WORTH IT!!! We decided to get the El Jefe meal (which we had enough left over for dinner that night too) and it was delicious!! We also tried the lemon cake... Delicious! And the chocolate chip cookies..... Delicious. I have been thinking of when we can go back ever since. Apart from the food, I loved the vibe. The owner played great music (70's & 80's Funk and R&B) and was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend and will also be returning soon!!
The crab leg platter with shrimp and broccoli looked exactly like the picture. The food was flavorful and timely prepared. Owners offer a student discount for hungry college students. Overall a great business! My new seafood spot in Albany.

The owners were very kind and welcoming to me and my husband, who were first timers and celebrating my husband's bday! Will definitely be returning and I would recommend to anyone looking for some GOOOOOOD eats!! 5 star for sure ?
Wow. My Bestie wanted to take me out for seafood to celebrate my birthday. When we googled seafood places in Albany, this restaurant came up and we decided to try it and BOY are we glad we did!!! Seafood was A-MAZING!!!!! we got the jumbo shrimp and snow crab legs!!! SO delicious!!! The owner and folks there were all so nice!! I am grabbing my husband and I am bringing him here PRONTO!!!! Thank you HSNB!!!!
We came right before they closed and was pleasantly surprised that they made our order fresh and and kindnesses of the owners made us feel at home. I got the shrimp, catfish and fries. My husband got the salmon everything was seasoned.
Came because of the reviews and the twisted shrimp were amazing! Piping hot, fresh and great service! Don’t let the minimal atmosphere deter you.
