I give 3 starts because the burger was salty salty but it was good.. But very salty… but the fries were black, hard, burnt, and really greasy… Most of the fries in my bag was darker then my skin color…. I would eat here again and I would suggest less less less less salt on the burger… And just completely skip the fries because I went to their instagram page and Seen pictures of fries looking like the ones I got today but my ones were a little more black… 3 stars is fair enough… But maybe it’s a little unfair because I do come from NYC where you can go to the corner bodega and get the same burger and fries for less money but it would be a solid 5 stars…. The cashier was amazing… Down to earth friendly girl…. she earned her tip…. but the late at night Friday chef needs to use way less salt and stop making the fries black … a hard greasy salty mess.. But it was very busy so that may be the reason. But dang $13 for that mess… I will try again on a less busy day and then update my review.. I honestly want to give 2 stars.. but 3 is fair..
Consistently inconsistent, especially if there’s any fault on their end. Misplaced my order today and after waiting for 45 minutes received this (photo included)This is pretty much the result 50% of the time, still wanted to stay local with the cash flow. Regardless, after today, have to find a better local burger joint to smash down burgers and shakes at.
Double cheeseburger all the way and loaded fries. ??Great vibes upon walking in, everyone was very friendly and food was great. Just what I needed. Keep on keepin’ on
I like the burgers are local grass fed, and the lettuce was above par for most burgers around here. My bun and burger was a bit charred, but still tasty. The fries were yummy. The chocolate milkshake hit the spot! The staff was underwhelmed but not rude. We ate outside 70 degrees on March 18th! I'll come back for more burgers.
Simple, to the point menu.(they do also have a secret menu) Prices reflect the quality ingredients, they're organic and come from local farms.Awesome Atmosphere and Aesthetic.Queer Friendly, Employee owned and Operated. They pay their employees above average.Staff are genuine and laid back but attentive.
Honestly? Probably the best burger in Albany. The burger was juicy and piled high, the "Nerdy Sauce" is a fantastic sauce option, the fries were utterly amazing, and the Vegan Strawberry Shake was to die for.Staff was extremely friendly from the get go. It just felt so comfy, safe, and secure there. Like the vibe was 100/10.Extremely worth every cent. Will be coming back here for our Burger Dates hella more often. Thank you Herbie's for an amazing midweek burger date ??
Nice little place. Very simple & straight forward. Helpful staff. Yummy burgers. If you have a hearty appetite you might want 2 burgers.
Almost identical menu to In N Out. I had the vegan burger, loaded fries, regular fries, and strawberry shake. The burger was great. I loved the vegan patty and how it was not trying to imitate the taste of meat. The patties are definitely thin so I think I would get a double next time. My friend had the beef patty and loved it too. The fries were okay. They were not hot or crispy and this was disappointing. The loaded fries were decent but the cheese was not melted enough (likely the fact that it was vegan played a role in this). The onion sauce and special sauces were delicious. The strawberry shake was a big disappointment. It had a very strange sour, artificial, vanilla type of flavor. Hopefully the chocolate and vanilla ones are better. The staff was also not very friendly. I was surprised by this especially since they are a new spot in town. Overall an okay experience. I will be back for the burger, but there are definitely things the restaurant needs to work on. Fun vibe to the restaurant though!

Only get the fully loaded fries if you LOVE onion. It’s insane lol. Burger was good though
