Stopped by for a vehicle inspection. The employees were very nice and efficient and got me in and out quickly. I then stopped by the restaurant and got some delicious food before leaving. Will definitely be coming back!
We couldn’t wait to come eat at this place since it has reopened! We ordered idli Sambar, which was good, samosa chat was okay there were a lot of biryani spices in it, and Channa Batura, this was okay, No sides of onions or lemon! So overall it was okay! may be because our expectations were too high since they reopened the place as it used to be amazing in the past! Hopefully we will like it more eventually.
They have a spot for children so when you walk in, you’re kids can go into the play area while you shop/eat. I’m only taking one star off bc the pani puri filling was so little like it was super hollow so it basically was the puri we were just eating. BUT THEIR MASALA DOSA was out of this world, I really enjoyed eating it.
Bit crowded on weekends but food is all time good and fresh. Whenever we visit here we surely will buy their sweets. They are very good, authentic and fresh.
Good taste good and I like the whole placeService is also too good
They go by a different name now i think Chit Chat Cafe and it says under new management. Hopefully my review stays for the new place. there are a few things I look for and this place usually has it. I noticed that they opened up a café and as I was coming home from work and hungry, this seemed like a good time to try it out. I got the pav bhaji as a classic food. I probably won’t be getting anything else. After I got the order I asked if it was all of it. It was more the look back at me that of course this was a full order that caught me off guard. I’m including the pictures for context. This was $11 but i leave the judgment up to the reader if the cost is worth it. I know in New York charges are more for everything, but this is more than I was expecting. As well, the taste was ok. I’m not sure if it’s the same recipe and spices that are used from chaat place to chaat place. I also don’t like the level of oiliness that was in it. You can see the sheen in the container. I’ll keep searching for other chaat places until i get back to making my own. I look forward to more reviews from other people to see if other choices might be better options. I really wanted to try the channa bhatura as well but I can’t see myself spending that kind of money for so little. In the end, I had to eat more food at home, because this left me unsatisfied
Great Carry OutWe recently had a carry out from Chit Chaat (pronounced Chot). The process was very simple. You order on line, give a pick up time, drive up, call their number and they bring it out to the car very timely. This was our 1st experience and we really enjoyed it. One of us had a beef entre and the other chicken. The flavors were delicious and they were large servings, enough for 2 meals.
Food is very tasty and behaviour of staff is very good. moreover when we are in wait of fresh food we can buy grossery for our house, rates are very reasonable.
My fiancé and I had a great experience at Chit Chaat Cafe! The service was friendly and fast, and the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered the pav bhaji, masala dosa, chana bahtura, and masala fries. All came out hot and fresh! We also had their masala chai tea - unsweetened, but you can add sugar if you want. Highly recommend for authentic Indian street food!!
Huge Indian groceries collection. Great place to find all items needed for making authentic Indian dishes at reasonable prices. Store looks clean and organized with friendly and sociable management. Thanks Yaman will be there soon again.
