I've ordered a lot from Big Nics and the pizza is good. I am also someone who loves to support small businesses. I always usually order dinner and there is always a very friendly girl working and no matter how busy it is she is always so sweet.I went in for the first time this past week looking for lunch. There was a man working by the ovens and he saw me and didn't say anything and continued to work. I stood there for awhile trying to get his attention while he kept looking over. He huffed and said "What's the name" and thew his rag down super annoyed. I apologized and said I didn't place an order but was wondering if I could just order pizza by the slice. He said "No." and then turned his back and walked back into the other room. Didn't explain anything, didn't ask if he could get me anything else, just walked away. Incredibly rude. I was planning on ordering a full pizza to pick up later if I couldn't get slices but wound up ordering from Sweet Willys, another local pizzaria where I have never been treated this way.I have always loved supporting this place despite the things I have heard from others and prices through the roof, but unfortunately that attitude leaves a bad taste in your mouth and I'd rather support another local pizza shop instead.
The wings were soggy. I wish they were crispier since it was going to be topped with hot sauce and ruin the texture. Be sure to tell them CRISPY because not all places make their wings the same. The pepperoni pizza was overly cheesy to me.Just a heads up, A large pepperoni pizza and 30 wings came to $65 on a Friday night. I guess this is "inflation" supposedly. According to the menu a (10) $14.99, (20) count of wings is $28.99.
Daughter and SIL just moved into Loudonville. We ordered garlic broccoli pizza and chicken parmigiana… my new favorite pizza place… highly recommend
Website says free delivery. You call to place an order rude employee refers us to slice to order. Deliver fee 6.99 plus delivery driver tip. Delivery driver delivers wrong food, have to contact slice to get the correct food delivered. Will not be ordering from here again they should be updating their website with correct fees and amounts.
I've had thousands of pizza slices in my life.... but none have satisfying repeated smiles on my face EXCEPT for Nicole's pie. Hands down the best in Colonie.
They are a great great pizza/sub place, BUT they have decided to move to total online ordering. Increased fees now on each order, delivery fees (not tip) and local fees. When trying to order subs there was no options for different cheeses, selections for lettuce, tomatoes or onions. Not even listing Mayo or Italian as dressings. They said you have to type it all out in the comments box, that'll get old on people real quick. I've started to keep clear of places that go through online ordering sights. So unfortunately, Big Nics is now off the favorites list. It's a shame, they've got some really good food.

Food here is amazing! Pizzaboli especially.However on NYE we called to order delivery and the gentleman was SO rude. I’d never experienced bad customer service from them before. We asked to order delivery and he said “Ok.” After a long pause we asked if he was ready for our address and he said “nope, what do you want”. We asked for garlic knots and he replied “no. sold out.”Love the food, but when we’re spending $50 on two pizzas, maybe be a tad nicer on the phone :)
Great pizza, nice staff! Awesome homemade cake slices.. and coming from another person who has worked in a professional bakery.. you will like it. Great last minute decision.
