Wonderful service and outstanding food. I had swordfish that was incredible and my husband had salmon that was delicious. Fresh, wonderful veggies and the best and friendliest service.
Went for a friends dinner out (table of six) had Ann as our waitress- she was very helpful in her recommendations I had the Red Snapper - excellent Two friends had the Tilapia with lobster tail and they noted the fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty Another had the Zuppa and was very happy with that dish (when isn’t that a good choice?!) Another had the chicken Paella and one had the enchilada special Literally everyone was happy with their meals Each had a cocktail No dessert And the bill with tip averaged $50 each Well worth it Service, food and ambiance were all excellent
Everything was perfect out on the rooftop deck! It was a brisk, end of the first nice Saturday of spring, evening and there were two servers for about six people outside, so my needs were well taken care of... And the chill kept my excellent martini, just the way I like it!The menu was tempting all the way around, as was the wine list. I settled for the filet, that was served with a deliciously thick pan sauce and a bottle of wonderful Spanish Rioja. The wine came to the table, right along with a few crusty warm rolls wrapped up in a basket. So good with the oil and herbs and a nice salad of mixed greens. Wow! Then the filet was served and the meal was nearly perfect. My filet was a touch overcooked (the high end of medium, instead of medium rare), but the time it took to make this pan sauce paid off and the meal was perfect. So perfect, I decided to order the coconut flan for desert! It is a Spanish restaurant after all. It did not disappoint. With dollops of whipped cream and a wonderful sauce, I'm in heaven.The bottle was nicely packaged for the trip home and the evening was a perfect welcoming of summer warmth and fun.Thanks for a wonderful evening Barcelona!* <-- here's your 5th star! If you are wondering what to do for this star, get the second floor, outdoor deck, stabilized, so that something terrible doesn't happen. That entire structure was weather weary and creaking 'n moving like no tomorrow! The railings, I don't believe, would take the impact of a man stumbling... This place has just become my favorite restaurant in Albany. I’m Ukrainian so seeing the spinach white bean topping on my salmon reminded me of my childhood. Very traditional European style! The serve/bartender was the sweetest woman ever and she made the best sangria martinis!! I will be back soon!!!!
I ordered the clams appetizer and had the salmon veracruz for dinner! I enjoyed everything especially the toast points with the clams.
Had a Red snapper and Gambas alAjillo. Really great taste. Do not forget to make a reservation ahead

My family goes to dinner on Christmas Eve at Barcelona for the past three years. We are always at least a twelve top with little kids. The service is always excellent and the food is amazing. I look forward to going there every year for such a special holiday.
I found the experience unique and enjoyable to my situation, and I am excited to try more of this restaurant's food and Spanish cuisine in general.
This was my first visit to your restaurant with my husband. It came highly recommended by my brother. I had the scallop special with chorizo sausage in an asparagus purée served over linguine. This meal was by far the best scallop dinner I have ever had. The scallops and sausage were so tender, the spinach and asparagus purée had an unbelievable flavor. My husband chose the eggplant parmigiana which he also said was the best he ever had. We also had the calamari as an appetizer. Warm bread, delicious salad was included with dinner. Our waiter was excellent too. Five stars, can’t wait to return!
