First time to Athos, was looking for something special for my birthday. I like Greek food and they had good reviews. Excellent food and service. Will return. Mt. Athos has special meaning to our family, the name certainly was something that caught my attention. My eldest grandson spent visited the Vatopedi Monastery on Athos three years ago. Check out "The Mountain of Silence" by Kyriacos C. Markides if you are interested in the restaurant's namesake.

I took my daughters here after the Van Gogh show at the Armory. It was my one daughterâs 21st birthday and everything was wonderful! We were from out of town and were so happy with everything.
Food is always scrumptious at Athos. We love the ambience of the new outdoor patio. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and with quite the crowd the service was great!
