We took a large group of my family, 8 kids and 8 adults. They had a little room that fit us off the side so that we weren't bothered by others and we weren't bothering everyone else. I enjoyed the Chimayo plate. The sopapillas were huge. The margarita was good and they had a couple of beer options, not a lot but a couple. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

Stopped by for lunch after hearing raving reports. The margarita was great, but the food only average. Overrated I feel. Parking is terrible.

We decided to go here after hearing how good it was from a local. We had a 30 minute wait for our table, but there was plenty of seating and you could get a drink at the bar while we waited. Once seated, we saw a mariachi band (who was really good by the way) moving around the restaurant playing different songs. Our waiter was really friendly and fixed an order when it was incorrect without any issue. We had the Green Chile queso fries, Chicken flautas, Quesadilla, Steak combination, Sopapillas, and skinny margarita. Everything was really tasty!

We were so surprised when hot sopapillas arrived at our table with our meal. Also we got to try Posole, a hominy based side. Entrees of enchiladas and chicken tacos were yummy. The house margarita hit the spot and my husband’s on tap Modela beer was just right. Staff was prompt but didn’t continually check on us. There was a parking lot unlike other area restaurants.

Great food! I had the Stuffed Sopaipilla with "Christmas" chile sauce. They bring a warm sopaipilla with honey and powdered sugar with each New Mexican entrée. Delicious! And of course the margaritas were excellent as well!

About a 15 minute wait to be seated, but not a very long wait to get food. Chips, salsa, guacamole and queso - or “the works” - was good. Neither my burrito nor cheesecake were very good, but I can’t really place why it wasn’t for the burrito. For the cheesecake, it was because there were seeds it something in it, and I didn’t quite care for that. Everyone else at my table said their entrees were extremely good, though, so I’m not making this rating very low. Service was really good too.

They had quite a crowd and we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated for lunch. however, the food and service were both excellent. We enjoyed our selections. It’s a good stop if you’re in the square.

We were expecting creative Southwestern fare based on all the hype, but were sorely disappointed with no ambiance and very average Texmex food.

I enjoyed this place with a group of 9. I’m not fond of Mexican food and the waiter was fantastic in accommodating my request for a guacamole dinner. The guacamole was excellent. The others in the group gave the food a big thumbs up. The soparillas were fantastic treat. Margaritas were awesome. Our servers were great. A large group can be hard but they made it seem simple. Wish I got the names of the two men. Disappointed that our reservation was messed up by the previous party not clearing out. Honestly believe with a 6:30 reservation they could have done better. Standing around in a very busy place for a half hour wasn’t pleasant.

Busy place but the food and service was great. I enjoyed the Chilles Rellenos and margaritas. We were in town to visit friends, and it was great to see servers welcoming obvious frequent diners with smiles.
