Absolutely awful. My family and I stopped in for some drinks and food. We were the only people in there and the waitress still managed to forget to put in our order. The food finally came out and it was cold. Had to ask for her to take off the cold food. I thought this was a premier hotel in Santa Fe.
The service was very good, I must say. They need more menu options and enhanced hours of operation. The shrimp cocktail: shrimp had no taste and was watery, not sure about the cocktail sauce, adding the S.W. seasoning wasn't very appealing, tasted like soap. Chips and salsa was good, but how can you go wrong serving this.

Sliders trio tasted very good, the salad deserved a more tasteful dressing.
In January Karen and I along with three other couple met at The Living Room (Loretto Inn). Jerome was at the counter as Karen and I entered, and this man did everything to make our visit perfect! He seated us while we waited on the others to arrive, brought our drinks(correctly!), and as the others arrived made sure all our needs were met. The meal was perfect ( they were under constitution in some parts of the hotel), in all this was a perfect evening because of Jerome. Very courteous and warm, NEVER one time messed up an order or place a wrong drink in front of a person, and there were eight of us. I would highly recommend the Living Room for a special dining experience, and especially ask for Jerome!!!

We visited the "Living Room" since we just wanted a light dinner. However, we were surprised with the pricing - the appetizers cost ($15) almost as much as what we paid for dinner entrees at a restaurant the night before! I ordered the calamari - about a third of it was inedible due to overcooking. The atmosphere was very relaxing in October, but I assume due to the proximity of the pool just outside it is very busy in the summer.
The staff were friendly, and the environment was very relaxing. Quiet enough to carry on a conversation with friends, and it had plenty of sofas and chairs to relax.
We had cocktails here prior to our dinner reservation at Luminaria (also on the property). Excellent service, great drinks, very relaxing atmosphere.

We were at a conference and spent all three nights after events in this bar. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone to check this one out. It has comfortable seating, is dog friendly, and has the best bartenders and waiters around (Cristen makes a killer lemon drop martini). There were a LOT of us and we were quite animated.....the staff was wonderful, attentive and efficient. We will definitely come back to this spot. They offer a fun bar menu, and have some great signature drinks (try the Blood Orange martini). Don't pass this place by!
