Poor customer service and unfriendly. A customer shouldn’t be judged by their race or age. I’m never coming back here again. Food was served cold. Nothing special to talk about.
Brisket tender thinly sliced not too bad.Not a lot of flavor...
I'm so disappointed. I've heard great things about SF BBQ over the years. My SIL had the BBQ sampler platter delivered to me while I'm recovering from surgery and it might be the worst BBQ I've ever had. The sampler platter description does not even include chicken and yet a huge piece of chicken was front and center and tasted like it had been boiled. Advertising pork and beef but then giving chicken is very bait and switch to go with cheaper meat instead. No smoke rings are on any of the meat at all. Sure, it was moist, like meat pulled from boiling water moist. The meat is basically inedible without the sauce to cover how bad it is. Honestly this is so bad it's fraudulent level of bad. I'm middle aged and this is my first time complaining about food, so it's not that I'm impossible to please, nor did I have any expectation about making a complaint. I even called SF BBQ just because I felt they needed to know. The guy I talked to said "I don't know what to tell you, I don't get a lot of complaints about my food. " and hung up. If that were true, wouldn't you be shocked and trying to make it right or figure out what went wrong so it didn't happen again? (What day/time did you order? What batch did you get? None of these were asked) I'm mad that my SIL'S gift to me was ruined by terrible food and I want to help others avoid this happening to them. There are much better places in town and in surrounding areas. ( Whole hog, ranch house, cowgirl, Rudy's just to name a few. ) I'm so sad that it was this bad.
Excellent barbecue meats that are difficult to beat but if you want side s, probably go to one of the other food trucks. The ribs and the brisket are fall apart delicious and so tender. The meats are some of the best in town, but yeah, the sides are decent at best, but there are other options for sides less than 100 feet away. Mix and match to your heart’s content.
I really loved this place! But ever since the new owners took over its a little different.. My suggestion for the pulled pork sandwich is the bread, it gets full of water im sure its water.. from the meat sitting in, and it makes the bread soggy right away! Im a local influencer who loves to eat! We enjoy the food!
The potato salad under cooked was not a very good side. The portion when I ordered a full rack and a pound of brisket was surprisingly small. I asked for sides of corn I got one corn on the cob. For a rack of ribs and a pound of brisket over $50? Nah I’ll just cook at home next time. Tried the ribs before sauce and most plain blan ribs ever.
I would say this was acceptable. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. I got pork ribs and beef ribs. They were both decent. The sauce was not too sugary which was nice. It felt like it lacked some love in the food. The corn on the cob could have been given back.
nah. please come on. I know I can't expect much in santa fe for bbq, but just don't call it bbq if your brisket is dry and flakey AND COMPLETELY VOID OF FLAVOR!!!! and the pulled pork tastes like tofu.sorry y'all this is the second strike.oh. your corn was overcooked and mushy.have some respect for the craft.
Brisket was rubbery and flavorless. There's no way it was smoked The bun was stale. Sauce tasted like ketchup with a little heat. No depth of flavor anywhere. They are obviously not trying. I can't imagine they have any repeat customers.
Ordered brisket sandwich and smoked saon sandwich. Salmon was cold and brisket was barely warm. Won't be going back there again.
