We were in Santa Fe for 10 days, and after a week, we wanted to eat something that wasn't smothered in green chile. We had been to our favorites, La Choza and The Shed, and endured long waiting lines and noisy dining rooms--and indulged several times in great green chile enchiladas. Also, that day we had taken long late naps and needed something that didn't close at 8. We found Rowley's, not too far from our air B&B, and it was perfect. Has a full menu of beer, but it has wine, too. The onion rings are maybe the best I've ever had. The cheese plate was divine, and the purger was great, too. The service was low-key but friendly and efficient. We were probably the oldest people there and maybe the only nonlocals. We sat outside and had a great conversation with a dog hanging out with some people at a nearby table. We talked to the people, too. We went back the next night, and all was the same. Not the same wait staff, but everything else was the same. Highly recommended.
Really great place to get food and a beer. You can tell why Guy visited n Diner's Drive Ins and Dives.
Build your burgers and the onion rings were really good! The service was great! Great selection of beers! Highly recommend.
One of the best breweries I’ve ever been to. We get their beer down in Tucson, and it IS good, but the selection and quality available at the brewery are beyond compare. This is a “destination” brewery that should be on every beer-lovers bucket list!
This place is really nice, service was lovely and good was delicious
I take food very seriously, and let me tell you this was the best tuna melt I have ever had. Crunchy, well seasoned, spicy, flavors were there. The TON of onion rings were unique and delicious, the fries were decent, burger was good, and the salad was good. It is extremely dog friendly, and the #9 Marbles wheat beer was delicious, like a marvelous summer ale. Xavien was our waiter and he was attentive, kind, and suggested beers, described the menu, and gave us some places to check out while visiting!Definitely worth the stop, especially with dogs. Service, food, beer, environment, 10/10
The food is absolutely AMAZING. Great beer selection, we enjoyed everything we tried!! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
It was a happy accident we ended up here tonight. We’d planned to go somewhere else that turned out to be closed, but thankfully found Rowley’s. It’s a very relaxed little brewpub with welcoming and friendly staff. My wife and I tried two of their IPAs which were good (the Aromatherapy was best) but we were all impressed with the food. The younger kid had chicken and waffles with some kind of delicious pickled (apple?) side that we all enjoyed picking at. The older son asked the server what to order and trusted his judgment on the tuna melt—not what one might normally go to but DAMN whatever is in that tuna really makes it special. my wife and I had the eggplant sandwich and a salad which were also quite good. Overall we were impressed by thoughtful attention to detail like the blankets they provide for outdoor tables, combined with the solid menu and beer list. Well done.
Loved eating on the heated patio. Tables are spaced out, blankets available for those needing them in addition to the heat, dogs welcome. Service was excellent. Bison cheese steak and chicken and waffles were so good on our first visit that we went back a second night. Shrimp and grits were excellent, as was the clam chowder. Desserts are made fresh and delicious. Extensive beer menu and choice of 4 or 16 oz size made trying new brews fun and reasonably priced.
e stopped at Rowley Farmhouse Ales on a whim in the midst of our cross country trip. Rowley Farmhouse Ales exceeded our expectations with a delicious lunch and wonderful brews. They are pet friendly, which was key as our cat was traveling with us, and the outdoor seating area was perfect. We were outside, but covered and warm on a brisk afternoon. We ordered the Caesar Salad with chicken and the Farmers Market Risotto. Both entrees were delicious and arrived at our table timely. We weren't in a rush, but did not feel like we were waiting for long. Service was pleasant and professional. This was definitely a bright spot of our travels.
