Very good food - mediocre service. Horribly loud! Couldn't have a conversation! Pasta was superior and Hatch chilis were yummy!
Noise level was simple above reasonable. Could not be hear across the table. How relaxing is Thai will re on mend w we hay warming. Marie de said weekday is quieter. Shame. Food is good.
Wow the food was fabulous! We had the beet salad, a pasta dish and the lamb shank. All were perfect and wonderful! Staff was short staffed so things took longer than one might think under normal circumstances, but they were efficient, cordial and helpful to the best of their ability. I would definitely go again next trip to sante fe.

A bit disappointed. The buratta was runny and the pears had no flavor. Both our pasta dishes were excellent but I asked for xtra shaved raw garlic and they claimed to not have any. An Italian restaurant with no raw garlic? Impossible. Also a $4.00 gratuity automatically added for kitchen staff even though we always tip 20%. For $100.00 it wasn't worth it.

Pranzo is fabulous. The food was all wonderful, the service was outstanding. We were seated in a room with a very large, very loud group. Being an old adobe building, the acoustics did not dampen the sound. Fortunately, we just talked loud too. If you are looking for a quiet dinner, you could probably sit in the bar where it seemed to be quieter. Even if not, the food is totally worth dealing with the noise of a large, loud group nearby.
The Freto Misto (mixed fried seafood with their homemade red sauce) was incredible.
This was our first experience at the new Pranzo, after dining with them many times over the years at their previous location. We were delighted by everything about it...service, food, atmosphere, etc. We noticed that a few reviews mentioned a high noise level. We did not experience that. Our reservation was for 5:30 pm on a Wednesday, so traffic was probably lighter than later or on weekends. We tend to go at non-peak times. Thanks, Pranzo, for a great experience. We'll be back.
