First time visitors from way out of town. Signature Flight Support recommended it and what a gem! The staff was busy but eager and happy. I had the BLT&A (a BLT with Avocado and great bread.) I have to say, it’s the best sandwich I’ve ever had. It was perfect. I don’t have the words to adequately describe how well all those flavors worked together. What an amazing surprise.

Enjoyable dining experience. I ordered Steak and Eggs. Other tan the toast arriving cold, I had a lovely meal. The waitor did replace the chili toast.

We sat at the bar to eat. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Our food was presented well and tasted good. Restaurant was clean and decorated cute. Great quality food for affordable price

Amazing. I'd love to show the plates of food, but we cleaned them completely. Salsa is fresh and perfectly balanced, nachos came loaded with beans, melted cheese, jalapeños, and beef. We've eaten here a couple of times, service has been excellent and the food is outstanding; Authentic New Mexican cuisine at its best.Eat here. You won't regret it.

Longtime customer at the sister restaurant on the plaza. Some of the waitstaff are at the newer restaurant. Well trained and friendly people. Sad that one of their's passed 2 weeks ago. Her name was Karen. Always had a smile on her.First visit to this place and it had already been open for several years. On the outside it wasn't very spectacular but once you entered the restaurant, it is really nice. The food was as awesome as the original restaurant and service was just as good.

Great service, excellent food. Ordered the patty melt with Avocado which was delish. Fries were a fine side. Strawberry shake with extra tin was very good; thick and rich. Small draft beer selection covers most beer styles. Good ambiance with interesting wall art. Outdoor seating available but it was too windy.

Went to dinner here to celebrate my grand daughters birthday. We brought in a very small cake 6 inch round just enough for her and the 2 other kiddos there to enjoy her day. They sat us and once the waiter came to the table we were told there’s a $20 charge for an outside dessert. We asked for the manager. Manager comes up not a very professional lady I just say. Her remark to the situation was this. “Yes there’s a $20 charge it’s for liability.” But if we wanted they could sell us a cake because they also carry cakes and pies. Guess what all priced at around $20.00. What a scam. Will never eat here again. Cost have gone way up and portions way down. My tortilla burger was about the size of a McDonald cheese burger. There’s lots of other places in Santa Fe to eat that won’t charge for bringing in a cake they are just happy you chose them. Go there instead save your money for somewhere else.

Had a great dinner with five other colleagues here after a long day of travel from the East Coast. The food was great with some excellent choices of local and American cuisine in a old fashioned diner setting. I knocked it down a star because I felt the server could have been more attentive at times our drinks were neglected. However, the sopapillas at the end with honey made up for all faults. Great choice right on the Santa Fe square. I would come back again.

It’s just hard to go wrong with a solid menu, good location, and great staff.Get a turkey melt, some chips and queso, or any other regular or new favorite and be out in minutes with their quick take-out counter service.Prices are decent for the quality, and portions aren’t grotesque. I always finish fully sated, but I return again and again for the classics I’ve grown to love!

I love old fashioned diners. The Plaza Cafe is just that and right in the plaza. The menu, venue, service and food were at least s good as we hoped for.
