Okay this was our first time to Santa Fe and the plaza area and this restaurant was recommended to us! It did not disappoint! :-) place is very bright and clean and the service was excellent! :-) the stepsopapilla was to die for! Thank you for an excellent dining experience!
Food was okay, nothing I would rave over, service was excellent, sat outside and felt rushed to eat when the manager began rolling the tarp above us. The calabacitas could have used cheese or more seasoning, as well as the chicken in the enchilada.
I just ate here and food was really good. Employees were nice and food didn't take too long to get. 5 stars. Also the picture of the food is empty I just ate it fast.
Lovely outdoor seating. Delicious food. Service was excellent. Our first meal in the Plaza was here and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids portions were a good size. Very popular so arriving early is recommended.
Great food variety on the menu. My wife had posole soup and I had quesadilla. Both were great. Conveniently located on the square. They have added an outdoor patio on the square.
Not only is the food outstanding, the staff provides great service with warm & friendly attitudes. Enjoyed meeting Larry at the door who set the tone for a great experience!
I know this place is known for its breakfasts and lunches, but we thoroughly enjoyed dining on the patio overlooking the Historic Santa Fe Square at dinnertime. It was a short wait for a table and service, food and margaritas were outstanding! We didn't have desserts, but the table next to us did and they looked to die for. This is a Santa Fe stable and you can't go wrong anytime of day here.
I wish I could say I enjoyed the food, but I did not. It was just…blah. Not to mention we sat by the kitchen and if you are a germaphobe…don’t sit there. Our waitress was also MIA half the time.
Went for breakfast which was great. The poached eggs were a bit aver for my liking but the green Chile toast was fantastic! Huevos rancheros was delicious with both red and green. We were to full for dessert so stopped back later that evening. Chocolate and key lime were very tasty and light!! We will absolutely recommend!!!
I used to love this place, so I'm disappointed that I have to write a poor review. The main problems were the server and the hostess. The hostess refused to let us sit at any of the tables we requested, even though there were only a few available. After we were seated, she sat someone at the requested table as soon as they walked in. It made no sense. The server took a very long time to take our order and the drinks took just as long. The Greek salad came with the wrong dressing and we didn't get the correct dressing for quite some time. The huevos rancheros were delicious with the green chile and eggs over-easy. Classic Santa Fe. Then again, our check took forever because the waiter was missing. I guess he took a very long break. We finally had to search for him after 15 or 20 minutes. Too bad.
