Iâve been going to Luminaria for a number of years. First- the service is still very good. Then, the cocktails were excellent. But the meal was quite disappointing for what the restaurant used to create. Specifically: the Mexican meatballs were over cooked, and the tzatziki sauce was bland. The romaine Caesar was barely charred. And the entrees were the biggest disappointment- the duck was crispy but not all that flavorful, and the wild boar was sinewy enough that half of it was inedible. If this were a restaurant that was three notches below Luminaria it might have been ok. But not for a place that used to be of very high caliber. I would not recommend the restaurant at this time.
Unable to eat in the outdoor patio due to weather, however, found the ambience very inviting inside. All four in the party were very satisfied with the food. We would return.
I had a reservation on the patio but because of the rain we moved inside and everyone was so polite
Everything was fine, but it wasnât good enough to justify the price. There are better options out there.
Ambiance was wonderful but the food was just ok. The huevos rancheros were ok. The salsa made them taste a little off. My friends mushroom omelette was good. The service was a little slow. Coffee refills werenât prompt. Our server was nice but could have checked on us a little more.
We understand that understaffing is the new norm, but when it leads to cold food at this price its no Bueno. Disappointing experience.
Food was good. Service was not
Ambience, food and service were excellent.
