Lovely atmosphere, felt like you were dining in a beautiful garden. Food was very good, delicious table side guacamole and really really good wedge salad and trout. The service was right on- no hurry between courses, we were allowed to sit, talk and enjoy our dine and dinner. Really enjoyable evening.
Excellent Mexican food in generous portions. The room is a bit noisy, but didn't take away from the experience for us. This was our second visit, and we will definitely come back again when we are in town.
Started the first night of my trip to Santa Fe and ended my trip here. The restaurant is beautiful, and the food is amazing! It was a highlight of my trip.
Great food, great service
Very loud crowd as the room was full and piped in music just added to the noise. My chicken panzanella was sparse, no added starch like rice or potatoes. Chicken piece on a puddle of cream sauce with halved Cherry tomatoes and croutons scattered around.
Lovely setting for a wonderful dinner. The tableside guacamole is not to be missed. Service was excellent.

La Plazuela never disappoints. The food, as well as the service, is consistently very good. Some dishes are even outstanding. Not being much of a meat eater, I have to trust my fellow diners on pork and red meat offerings. The tortilla soup is perhaps the best I have eaten anywhere. The wine selection is quite good, without offering an encyclopedia of choices to ponder. My only complaint is that some of my favorite dishes have been removed from the menu over the past several years. The ambience keeps us coming back. It is always quiet enough to have a conversation without raising our voices to be heard.
