My husband and I had brunch at this place. It was delicious. Our waiter was so kind too. Would definitely recommend this place. Very tasty food.

Walked into La Fogata Grill off the street and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised! We began with a mojito, which was the best beverage I’ve ever had, and Oaxaca sopes. You get 3 different sopes, a bean, mole, and green chili. Each one was delicious, but the mole was AMAZING! We then ordered the combo plate that had one of the best chile rellenos AND veggie enchiladas, I’ve ever eaten. We also got the la fogata torta with fries and every single bite was eaten because it was so delicious. Then to top it off, we ordered flan for dessert. Everyone knows that flan is the way to my heart and La Fogata just stole it. It was the BEST flan I’ve ever had and will be coming back before I go home for more! The waitstaff was attentive, kind, and personable. All around, one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. We will be coming back time and time again!

Really nice people. The food was made with attention to detail and had great flavor.

Had a quick lunch at La Fogata. We enjoyed tamale, pina colada, mexican corn, green chile dish and tacos. Everything was delicious but we felt the tacos could have used more seasoning. Loved the ambiance and the drinks.

Great food, drinks and service. We started with Oaxacan Sopes, a great chance to try the Mole. For dinner, my husband had Chile Nogada (the national dish of Mexico), which was awesome! Don't let the ingredient list scare you, this is really Mexican comfort food. I tried the Carne Asada, which was also quite tasty. Tres Leches cake made a great finish. Margaritas (one Tequila, one Mescal) were made to order, and were also good! Downstairs on San Francisco, does not disappoint!

My Mom and I actually intended to eat at a different restaurant but it was closed for a private event. They recommended La Fogata. So glad they did. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! My Mom is not really into Mexican food but loved her Salmon dish. If you’re in Old Town Santa Fe, go eat!! We certainly plan to!

We have tried every taco from truck to fancy and La Fogata is right up there with the best. Friendly service, delicious drinks and a fun atmosphere. Glad we braved downtown to go!

Today I went in for the first time. We got the taco platter it comes with 12 tacos and you can choose up to 4 fillings. We got al pastor, barbacoa, chicken tinga, and shredded beef. They were all really good sized and well worth the price. It also came with charro beans, red and green salsas the green was soooooooo good ?. We also ordered the guacamole which is made fresh at your table, queso with chorizo. Both were so good. For drinks we ordered micheladas and a pina colada which stole the show it was served in a pineapple. This place is a 10/10.

Incredible food, drinks, and service. Loved the street corn, steak fajitas and enchilada suizas.

This place is not good for large groups. Service started off very accommodating but quickly went down after we placed our orders. After an hour wait we've only received one glass of water each, one serving of chips and salsa, which we were told at the end they were not free, and the appetizers of plantains and street corn. No refills, no offer to refresh our drinks, just a poor explanation that the kitchen was backed up when everyone around us received their food and already eating. We ordered the taco platter and a shrimp entree. 1+ hour wait. Guests around us ordered the same and got theirs. When we brought it up to a waiter, a waitress came and tried to justify the wait because she had told us 45 min into our visit that the kitchen was backed up. She said the orders were placed in the order received - again we arrived and placed orders prior to the other groups. How did it taste?Well it wasn't hot so idk why it took so long?!Wish you better luck if you come here. The ONLY reason they received a tip was because a 20% service tip was baked in the total. Texans, you've been warned.
