We tried so many items on the menu. All the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and authentic. Service was also great, very accommodating. Our family of four highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Santa Fe, NM. It was our favorite dinner so far while visiting. Just a few blocks from the Plaza, a great dine in experience.

Last time going there I recommend you go to Kai sushi and dining or fun noodle bar. So we waited an hour just for water, it was so hot in there it was uncomfortable, and the waitress was extremely rude that I just left. No one deserves to be treated inhumane. She also spilled alcohol in my underaged friends water. It’s also extremely dirty in there.

Best bento box in downtown

We eat here pretty often. Most of the time it’s good. Sometimes things aren’t great, but that’s OK. The wait staff is generally really nice and the atmosphere is good. Last night, a woman who I assume may be a manager, often storms around. She has an incredibly sour look and was grabbing our dishes while we were still eating off of them. She has done this on several times when we’ve eaten here. Her extreme unpleasantness can reek through the restaurant when she is there. She might wind up making me avoid this otherwise decent restaurant.

I never leave reviews but I was just so disappointed in this place. A few months ago me and my boyfriend came to try it as we have never tried sushi before. We got there around 2:30-3 and got seated in the back. there were only around 3 tables seated in the front so it wasn’t too busy, 2 of them already had their food anyway. I ordered miso soup and it got there pretty quick and then we ordered our sushi. We waited for almost 2 hours and did not receive our food until around 5:00-5:30! We only ordered ONE type of sushi for us to share and it took 2 hours? We were pretty sure our server had just completely forgotten about us or he just didn’t care enough to fix it. He was extremely rude and overall just disrespectful and for the entire 2 hours we were waiting, he completely avoided us. He would walk down the hallway and we would be prepared to ask him how much longer but then he would turn or turn around last minute because he didn’t want to confront us. It was extremely rude, we weren’t offered refills for water or anything. Just completely ignored. Another server had seated another couple in the back around an hour after we were seated and they received their sushi before we even got ours. The sushi itself was pretty good and we both enjoyed it, however the service was terrible and it was really hard to enjoy it when we got treated so terribly. I don’t know if it was a matter of not caring or slight racism but it was just overall extremely bad service. If there was better customer service we would definitely have wanted to come back because the food was good.

Food was actually quite good, but it took over an hour from placing my order to getting my food. There were also a number of dishes we ordered that were forgotten that we had to remind the staff of a few times. Appetizers came after main courses as well.

Great little restaurant downtown. The heart attack sushi is amazing. The bento boxes are a very good size meal with everything you need except desert! We tried the noodles and that was a giant bowl of noodles with tender tender pork that are an option to add in.

Good little sushi place on the main Guadalupe strip. Food was delicious but service was slow even though they were not busy, about 1/4 capacity when we went. If you like sushi or other Japanese eats definitely check it out, may just be there longer than expected.

Food was good but service was lacking. I hate to leave reviews but sometimes some places just need to be informed whether bad or excellent. First we looked up Konami’s times online, which stated as of April 19TH the close at 10:30pm. We showed up a table of 6 at 8:15pm and we first told a 20 min wait, which is awesome. Then we were told an hour wait only 5 mins later. Ok, that’s fine it’s the only habachi on the island so we will wait. We were seated at about 45 min, which was awesome! Our waiter seemed great and on top of everything took our drinks and sushi orders came back and kinda seemed to push for our dinner order and we gave it. Then we sat, and sat and sat. Our cook finally showed up at about 9:30 and was defeated looking and was in an argument with another busboy/kitchen staff. We hadn’t seen our waitress in about 15 mins and noticed that the bartender was refilling our drinks. We hadn’t gotten our sushi yet either. We asked the bartender about our sushi and she found it waiting at the sushi bar with no ticket. Apparently our waitress clocked out at official closing without handing us off to another staff member or informing us. Then the cook started with the fire, cool deal our show was starting. Nope. We tried to ask how the night was going what his name was and all we got was slumped shoulders and grunts. No flare, no talking no show. Ok so we just sat back and watched. As we started to eat we noticed a lot of staff cleaning up and starting to make a-lot of noise. We knew we were the last table but didn’t know it was past closing. No posted times anywhere. About 10 mins after our meal was cooked all the lights turned on and everyone was in full on clean mode. Mind you this is about 10:10pm we still thought closing was 10:30. We were feeling very rushed to finish our meal. As one person would finish, someone would come and ask to take our plate. Very rushed to leave. At 10:20pm the kitchen/bus boy that was arguing with our cooked asked to take my son’s plate if he was done and had his hands on it before my son could respond. Mind you he is 16 and had a full mouth of food and a fork in his hand. My son said he wasn’t done and the guy proceeded to argue with me that he was and that is why he asked before trying to remove the plate. Last i checked you ask a question and wait for the response then act, not act then get fussed at. We paid our bill that included a gratuity, that shouldn’t not be forced upon a group of 6 but we paid to be nice, and spoke with a “manager” who told us to come back later in the week to make it up to us. We just called and there is no manager by the name we were given and the owner won’t be back until the middle of may so we needed to come back then. The food tasted good but not for the price and lack of service.

Came here for dinner tonight. The Sushi was great and our server was notably overworked, total understanding there with their staffing shortages. However, the (what I assume is the manager or host) was completely out of line. Yelling at her own employees directly in front of all of the guests. In fact most of the guests spoke up about it. This woman stormed around the restaurant acting like a tyrant, ignoring customers, telling customers they can sit at the bar and then telling them they were not allowed to sit there. Completely unprofessional. kudos to the staff who are working under this overly demanding, rude, woman. If it weren’t for her, the experience would have been great.
